Loved this entry! The controls were a bit hard to grasp at first, and then I figured out that mashing the four keys or cycling between them randomly was way easier than trying to press them all at the same time.
The SFX and visuals were splendid as well! :)

How did you incorporate the theme "COMBINATION"?
I borrowed the quick time events mechanic which is quite common in narrative based games.
In this game, you would need to press a "COMBINATION" of keys which is prompted on screen in order to launch a missile to attack an alien spaceship.
Comments
Simple but good looking and fun game, the main mechanic is not that easy to get at first but it makes sense when you try a bunch of times xD
Nice game. Simple and fun! Also art is cool. And I like an impact of shooting
So, you made a rhythm game, IMO. Which is awesome, there arent enough rhythm games. Obviously this is a jam and theres only so much time, but if you continue developing this game and make a solid sound track that has a beat to the QTEs, I think that would be super sick. Good game, thanks for making
What I liked
- I'm a big fan of the art style.
- Implementing QTE is pretty ambitious, so huge kudos on that.
- I liked the music in general, but I will mention it again in the section below.
- The theme is clearly implemented without having to be explained how the theme is implemented.
Suggestions/Feedback
- Personally, I felt like the music was a little too loud in comparison with entity sounds, I feel like entity sound volumes should take priority over the music's volume. They're the main concern so the player should be drawn to that.
- The downside of implementing QTE is that a tutorial is basically mandatory. Not having one, you risk a lot of players giving up because they don't feel like scrolling back to the page and re-reading everything again. I think its even more critical in your game's case because of the art style.
Overall, its a good submission. If you move forward with this project, I'd love to play again when a tutorial is implemented!
I really like the art! The game loop is straight forward and you get right into the action. Nice job!
