This was pretty fun ngl! I kinda wished you had more time to make this because I think it would have been great. The audio was great (eventho it gets repetitive), the artstyle is cute, and the game was very simple yet effective. Considering what you had to go through during the jam, this was a very good result. 1 little idea tho, if you like to make art, you can maybe change certain posters depending on the level of your game price, and marketing level, I think this will give people even more incentive to continue, and I don't think the implementation will take long. Anyway, this was honestly funner than I expected, really solid entry, keep it up!

There's something in a clicker, I usually not play them but this one was fun.
Maybe add some actions that can only happen at a certain time. Good entry.
I actually did not expect to have that much fun in this game but found myself clicking away! It really is so satisfying seeing the numbers constantly go up! You're an absolute genius for making something like this hahaha, I really have no idea how it was able to draw me in the way it did but it's soooo unique and unexpected.
sweet little clicking game with addictive potential. Played till 100,000 ^^
It could easily use some extra things like a goal, or events or something. And its very bare bone in regards to graphics. The theme is kinda shoehorned in. Other than that, neat game!
For some reason I really liked the audio track. The game was also pretty catching all things considered (like the amount of content). I could not understand though what marketing did. For the theme - I didn't see any reference ot an edge (granted I did not read everything).
Thanks for playing :D I'm happy you liked the music! I didn't explain marketing very well for sure! It basically enables automatic sales of games (1 per second) from the first upgrade. On top of that, each level adds 5% sales value multiplicatively for the auto sell, while also "double dipping" with the "upgrade" button. Which should work well in tandem for big stonks!
Regarding the music, I found it funny to combine some "office vibes" as part of the music, with rhythmic melodic telephone beeps and call tones etc. The game and gameplay itself had no reference to "the edge". Only the text, which is a big cop-out lol. I had bigger plans for it but life happens and stuff. I decided to wrap it with some silly music which is more fun to me, and finished the last meme poster (only had 3 when I had run out of steam)
A pretty simplistic clicker game.
The audio get's super repetitive pretty quickly. maybe mix it up a bit, so the same like 10 second audio clip with phone ringing isn't on loop.
There isn't really an end to the game (at least not one I found), and after a pretty short time the upgrades get too expensive to really want to sit there clicking it longer. Maybe some kind of exponential mechanic like Cookie Clicker resets, or Clicker Hero's ascensions would help.
+1 for stonks memes though
Yep, pretty much what I knew it would be, you are absolutely right. Thanks for playing though! I'll keep your feedback in mind if I return to the concept of the clicker game again :)
I wrote on the page of the game that there is no real game loop and numbers only get bigger with no end goal. I followed advice to upload "something" rather than "nothing", and ultimately feels like less waste of my time and energy.
