I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. The story was great! And I absolutely loved the writing, it had a very "British village where nothing bad happens" feel, you know. The unexpected was pretty unexpected! Great job on this one c:
Thank you very much! "Quiet British village" was pretty much exactly the feel I was going for, so it's great to hear that came across like it was supposed to.
The unexpected is the expected, that was clever, nice script =P
I enjoyed the story being told and felt very uncomfortable when getting the eggs. I agree with Patrice, I think that some variation in the background colors would have really contributed to the story telling! Well done :)
The egg-collecting was meant to be the most uncomfortable part, so I'm happy to hear that worked out! You're right about the background colors, and the only reason I didn't use more variance was technical limitations. Though as I mentioned to Patrice, I actually did find a way to get around that, so if you give it another go you'll find that a few things have changed!
Just a nice little thing
This was cute! The story was fun, and definitely unexpected at the end. Loved how you were playful with the response options (won't say too much so as not to spoil things for others).
One thing I wished you would have done was change up the background color in response to location and environmental happenings, especially when referring to colors. That would be a really nice effect.
Glad you liked it! I actually wanted to use differing colors, but I'm afraid that's not really possible in the engine I'm using.
...Or so I thought. I've actually done some research, and it turns out it is possible. I've made some changes using this new knowledge- So thanks for inspiring me to improve!
NIce Job setting up an expectation and breaking it
