nice game. good take on the theme! it was creative! I hadn't thought of doing something like this but i liked it. the gameplay was also challenging but not too difficult.
Great game, really enjoyed it. Having the switch key so far away made impossible to play with one hand. (may cause accessibility usages) made for a great co-op experience with a friend.
Didnt think of all controls with one hand, good idea. I have always just played with two. SOmething to think on for next jam.
Fun Concept! I really like how you executed it.
Thanks.
Fun game! I really like the concept. Mechanics were smooth and enjoyable. I do wish the respawn timer would be a bit faster. Especially in the harder levels it can get a bit annoying having to wait. Other than that great game, I enjoyed it :)
True, should have shortened particle time. Thanks for playing.
I really love the idea, good one ! well done in 3 hours :)
Thanks for playing
Nice Mechanic I really like it.
Thanks.
omg, really outstanding game idea. love it. the difficulty is just exactly right for me, a tiny bit harder and i wouldn`t have finished level 5, 6, 7. The moving platforms add a whole new element to the game. Might be a good idea to put in a fullscreen button here? I had to zoom in in chrome with the mousewheel to get a decent big image.
With some music and a tiny amout of maybe shadows or something and a few more levels i could imagine this to be a really cool game!
I would make it so that you can only finish the level / enter the door, if the door is visible. I did just rush through level 8 without any technique, just speed.
Well done especially in this short amount of time
Thanks for the great feedback. Just ran out of time, I wanted to make as many levels as possible. Yes 8 was a speed run level, but figured most people would take a couple of gos to figure it out :)
Great job to complete this in 3 hours it was a lot of fun. Add a timer and auto start next level and you got a great speed run game. I really did not miss the audio.
Timer would have been a great idea. I thought about autostart but I was worried some levels too hard and wanted everyone to play any level. Thanks.
Cool platformer! One exploit for you speedrunners out there: on level seven, you can double jump by jumping into the right side of the platform. And the door to end level exists in both the light and dark worlds. Good foundation for a puzzle or skill platformer
Good catch re the invisble door. Nice little bug I didn't catch.
The gameplay is fun, especially level 7. The visuals, while minimalist, work very well and are clear enough. No audio. The strongest point is the gameplay, which is really smooth. I didn't get stuck in any walls and everything behaved like I expected it would. Good game!
Thanks for playing. Yeah just ran out of time re audio. so focused on a different type of level 8.
:) - Funny ceiling bonk on level 7, and the way it works reminds me of "Cause and Effect" level from Titanfall 2. Bravo!
:( - Interesting clipping dynamics, no auto-next-level and restart sends you straight to the 1st level.
I didn't catch that bug, nice spotting. I wanted everyone to pick and choose their levels. Sometimes worry you make it too hard and I wanted everyone to play 7 and 8.
It would actually be interesting if the main threat of the game was telefragging yourself into a wall, and yeah, levels 7 and 8 were awesome to play, so great job!
5-7 got me a couple of times. 8 spooked me, lol. I liked the variety in level concepts using the mechanic, solid controls, good game!
Thanks, yeah i liked playing with 8, that if you paused too long you got spiked.
