Not bad and psychedelic! I liked the effects you did on rings! Sounds were repetitive but i had fun smashing those baddies :)

Developer

Thank you!

You again ?! You participate to every trijam :D

I really love your game. It's simple, addictive ! Well done !

You even had time to make a menu, a tuto and a custom cursor. You spent well your time !

The only thing that bother me is the music loop, a little too short.

Developer

Thanks!  Yup, I’ve been in the last three with you (except the Giga Jam).

I agree on the music - I’m definitely no musician!

I won’t have the time to make a full game next weekend. But if you want we team up, I could make the music and the sfx for your next production ;)

Really neat and addictive. Nice game !

At the end some projectiles where reeeeeeeally fast XD I like the curve of difficulty.

Developer(+1)

What in the world?  Everyone else is topping out at like 60-70.  Be honest - are you a ninja or a robot?

Submitted(+1)

To be honest...both (and from Pluton), but please don't reveal my secret.

More seriously perhaps I just had good RNG on the spawns. I reached this score only once after all.

Could see this being in an old arcade cabinet somewhere. Super addicting.

Developer

Thank you for the kind words! That’s exactly the vibe I was aiming for. 😊

Simple game, but very nice presentation!

Developer

Thank you!  I love old arcade games so I was looking for an excuse to fake some scanlines and make it look retro.

Cool concept

Beaufiul entry, really liked the visuals and gameplay. Now I sometimes lose track of the mouse as it ends up outside the window on fast movements, which is a bit annoying - maybe the Itch's default full screen button might help if it works well with your game?

Developer

Thanks!

Yeah, I haven't tried full screen mode on Itch.  I'll have to play around with that once the voting is done.  I made a Windows build just to see what happens and it doesn't have the same problem, so I think it has something to do with the HTML5 canvas not being able to track mouse movements outside of itself (whereas the Windows build can).

I still haven't gotten out of the 40s, I am playing with a trackpad though. Great visuals, nice effects. Frustratingly addictive because I feel like I should be doing much better!

Developer

It is really tough on the trackpad!

Submitted

Really like the visuals, great job! One thing i found was that i lost track of my mouse, so maybe the curser could be a more contrasting colour. My highest score was 47 :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks!  Good call on the mouse cursor.  I think I'm going to do a post-jam update and that will be one of the fixes.

I got 65 score in 2nd try fun concept and game I like it.

Developer(+1)

Wow!  You are the champion, I believe.  I've topped out at 60 since my original post (playing on a trackpad).

Submitted(+1)

Nice I am playing with mouse will score more at free time getting ready for other jams. :)

Developer(+2)

Here's my personal best score so far.  Can you beat it?

Submitted(+1)

44 so far. Gets a bit easier after your lose the first few circles, there's a sweet spot in the middle.

Developer(+1)

Your observation makes sense because the bulk of the little time I spent balancing it was actually with fewer circles in place.  I initially had two fewer circles, but I added a couple to sort of act as practice for the player, extend the play time a bit, and to make it look nicer.

If I had more time, I was planning to add a bonus circle for every 20 or so enemies that you kill.  The game still plays well with about 2-3 circles more than what you see now.  Anything above that and I’d have to re-jigger the distance between them to avoid it getting too cramped on the screen.

I finally topped my previous score and got 56, by the way.
