The game is pretty fun. Grid based movement for a shmup is pretty creative. And the art is very cute. But the game was pretty easy for me so a difficulty option to make it faster would be nice. And maybe a boss to end the game? (were the fast walls the boss? most of them were just open in the middle so staying there was enough lol)

wow, Utsuho..............you really did it. i didn't think you could, but you really did Dodge on this Adventure. we are all so happy. you even discovered the "use a bomb right before picking up a bomb charge item and your bomb is free" tech

wish the bomb had some iframes. lost a run to bombing at the end when i couldn't keep up with the rapid walls, but since the walls don't die immediately, i got struck just as it was about to despawn. also, i wish that the walls popping out had a bit longer of a tell, since you often are forced to go to them.

Bird button's great, very charming. That animation's cool, and I had a fun time dodging stuff. Kind of reminded me of Sonic quicksteps.

There's a really neat game in here, but the luck based elements on terrain/bullet placements kinda kill it for me. Feels like there's too many really awkward if not outright undodgable situations that can crop up, and the fact the first 75% of the game is really easy except for the random walls doesn't particularly help.
Would be really curious to see what this feels like with a post-jam update, though.

The choice to constrain movement to a 5x4 grid is clever, especially in what otherwise resembles a vertical shmup. Simplifies the mechanics without losing anything important for this game.
Really good gameplay - my only complaint is that the difficulty gets a bit rough in the end given how long it takes to get there. Aesthetics are also on point - the plain white orbs feel slightly out of place, but this would be a trivial thing to improve.
I may have exaggerated with the speed at the end, but the orbs and side rocks no longer appear. And the orbs do have texture but the shader for the burn effect when you bomb makes it goes blank for some reason, I didn't try to fix it because, well, that's how they looks like in normal touhou games. Decently fun, got walled a couple of times but outside of that it was relatively easy to beat the game, out of 3 attempts i won twice. being forced to take a hit was frustrating and i feel like the projectiles were too easy to react to but outside of that the game is good.

Didn't end up beating it, got walled too many times. Also, bombing doesnt make you invincible? I bombed and ran into a projectile that the explosion hadn't yet reached several times, feels bad. That being said, a grid-based shmup is fascinating, and the art and music is superb.

Not bad.
I lost, like, 6 lives in 10 minutes to sudden landslides and sudden bullets (when I had to stay on a side). Warning signs could have been good - like for example a bullet's glow from off to the side - and (more visible) falling pebbles to telegraph landslides.
Also, doesn't really feel good when I get walled and I have to accept death (yeah I did have to restart a few times like this):
At least the game's short so it's kinda tolerable.
That's a nice-looking game though! My favorite thing is the stage theme, it's a jam.
P.S.: Someone should install a system to remote-control the air hatch :P
