A bit too easy and short. The upgrades are interesting and have nice synergies, and then it just ended as I was getting the ball rolling.
Seen the Jam and post-Jam versions.
Gotta say, the base idea is interesting. But the enemies (for now) are too easy to deal with, come in very few variations, which in turn doesn't allow to put the concept in the spotlight.
I guess it's about picking which upgrade is better suited for the current moment, except that-
The current moment: "I return again (because Mima can't)"
An interesting auto(?) kinda game. The difficulty made it feel like there wasn't much point to which upgrades I picked, but I like the idea of strategizing perk selection along a route and the little blurbs that they had. Or maybe I was just a super smart tactical genius and picked all the right upgrades. Regardless, Tokiko was protected.
Pretty fun game. The concept is great and idea is ok. It's not that polished and not completed through. Would have added some music if you can compose any. Also I like the little comments under upgrades. Keep it up!
PS: Try also to make the window smaller so that the player may click fullscreen instantly, 1200x1000 would maybe do the job done.
