The effects look amazing! Well done!
I loved the style in this game, I really tried to be the first person to achieve a win, but after more than an hour trying i couldn't get through it all.
If i had to critique something would be when you end up in a ledge and the cube jumps randomly to any direction, that has cost me a few runs
I was honestly going to remove that before submitting but a friend of mine who play tested the hell out of this game told me specifically NOT to remove that feature as it was funny xD
Also the game is really so unfairly hard and I'm planning on a fix for that in a future update after the jam ends!
(it will be as hard if not harder! But the end game won't be so unforgiving at least)
Stay tuned!
This game looks interesting but I can't play/rate it since there's no Web build. I hope you can upload one after the voting period :)
This is really fun! I couldn't play too much of it, but I like the gameloop and the visual atmosphere is really nice.
If I had one point of critique, it would be that I think the game could actually work better without the explanation at the beginning. It felt like a lot of info at once, and like it says, you pick up the mechanics intuitively.
I agree! I feel like one of the next updates I should make for this game is to have a pretty easy starter area so a player can normally pick up the mechanics with minimal text :D
Stay updated!
Holy crap that's beautiful. Aesthetically-wise this is definitely the best game in the jam. And you're right I did catch onto the controls quick lol. Watching the cube soar & glide through the water stuff with the awesome colors and sound effects was just mesmerizing. Great job!
