Very nice work for a 24hr submission! Nailed the aesthetic quite well. Wish there was some sound to add to the atmosphere! Got a little confused after pressing the button, wasn't too sure where to go.
For one day of developing is a great progress. I like the design and main character :-D Everything works smooth and as expected.
Thanks for your submission!
I loved the game, the aesthetics were slick especially the mist, the mechanics worked as expected. The dying animation had us all laughing, with sound that would be even funnier. Which version of Gdevelop are you using? It didn't have the loading screen.
Thanks for the feedback! I will add some sounds in the post-jam version. :D
I used the free version of GDEVELOP 5. But since I know something about computer paths and C: drives, I made the renderer do stuff it wasn't supposed to. It rendered a black image since you can also see some blackness and wait until you can actually play the game. I hope it solved your query
Nice stuff! I like the limbo like visuals of shadows and outlines :)
Visuals looked really good. The controls felt nice especially the intuitive wall jump. Level design was well thought out except for the large hole by the tree. Not sure if you could get past or not.
Really enjoyed.
The art style gave me Limbo vibes. It would be cool if it was even longer, because I'd love to be able to play more :D
I really appreciate the use of gradients and how you managed to differentiate foreground from background quite easily. You have smooth animations and the style is consistent, and it was very thoughtful of you to have the character respawn near the death spot - thank you for that. If I read the readme section right, it looks like this was done in one day which is very impressive
A VERY VERY big thank you! The gradient part was hard enough, I do have a keen interest in animation. And welcome for that 'character respawn near-death spot'. Yes this was submitted on the last day of the jam because the game I was planning to make with my team was not able to be completed so I submitted this instead, which I made during the jam JUST IN CASE
The art style on this is really nice, and it controls nicely. I hope it's going to be part of something bigger!
