the story was solid.
I like a good ol' text adventure! Reminds me of reading tonnes of the choose your own adventure books as a kid where they tell you to turn to page x for this or page y for that :D
I knew I should have left the lego alone, but I couldn't resist x3 That was what happened the first time, haha. Then I went through it again without making the same mistake, got to the end, and it said I had completed the change but failed to convince the parents, haha. That was my fault for skipping some of the info gathering the second time around >.< So I played a third round and I don't know if I did something wrong, but I got the clothes, gathered info on the console + book, and when I completed the change and clicked the 'new family' button at the end, it sort of stopped on a black screen. I tried starting over and repeating the same steps, but it did it again. I was playing on easy mode if that's any help :3 Could just be my laptop being silly >.<
Anyways, it was a neat little story! :D I might give hard mode a go later + try out some of the other options I missed!
Thanks for such an in-depth recap! Iβll definitely look into why that might be.
That LEGO is dangerous!
Yeah x3 I had a feeling it was a bad idea to mess with lego, haha, but I just had to click it to find out :D made me smile!
Did you go into the Sun Room or go through the garage at all? It sounds like you found 4 out of the 5 pieces of info you need to fully assimilate the boy.
EDIT: I fixed it. Had to change a conditional statement to include to smooth out the transition. Thanks for your feedback!
I think I did, but the second time I went to the garage, I left the tool box alone.
Oh, cool! I shall have another go through later tonight then :3
This was quite fun. Simple but elegant :)
I liked the writing and the story.
Darkly comedic, somewhat sickening, I love it. Well done!
Not a big fan of text adventures but great effort with the storyline!
An intriguing text adventure. I think this game sets up the atmosphere well but it looks like some parts may be unfinished. For example, the parents room displayed "Double-click this passage to edit it."
This is why you donβt make games in 24 hours. Will patch that ASAP.
Thank you!
