Good game, visuals and sound. I did get a small bug, somehow after teleporting a few of the bullets I shoot didn't move, they still triggered collisions though. This only happened once so not a big deal.

Good twist to the asteroid formula. 10/10 Space BG!

Cool Game, The music is really relaxing but also a little mysterious but I think that the Player doesn't have a lot of situations when he needs to teleport

Love the retro design it I love the arcade game aesthetic with the three letter highscore system, and the little numbers that are made when an asteroid is destroyed to represent points added to the score. I am a sucker for retro styled games so I enjoyed this a ton.

I had sooo much fun with this game, even just using a trackpad! Very clear visually.

Developer

Thanks for playing and comment, man! :)

Respect this trackpad play, I can't go too far with it haha

Game feel was spot on, and very much reminded me of Asteroids. I played a few minutes until hand started cramping (maybe implement auto-shoot?), then I just let the asteroids hit me since it didn't feel that difficulty was going to rise. My score was just shy of 20000.

I understand the increase in the difficult point, it increases but I realized it's too few.But the auto-shot, haven't really thought about it, seens interesting.

Aesthetics it was simple but it worked. Gameplay was good, but maybe reduce shooting speed to force the player to eventually teleport?

Developer

Thanks for palaying and comment! :)

The shooting "cooldown" seens a pretty interesting idea that I haven't even think about, but it would for sure increase the difficult and make the teleport more necessary.

A very nice game, simple yet effective, no matter how much stuff is going on on the screen, it is easy to read and it is easy on the eyes. Loved it!

Good to see it, thanks for the comment! ;)

I really like the game, the style was simple and effective. Everything seemed very polished as well. I did notice there was a small bug with collisions. If your bullet hit the edge of an asteroid sometimes it will be deflected off instead of destroying it. Not a major thing and it didn't happen too often, but overall a really great game

Abou the collision bug, I saw it, but didn't had much time to fix it after play testing, but I'm happy to see that it didn't make the game feels like a bad experience.

Great game, I would love to see some parallax effects in the game some day.

Developer

Thank you for playing and comment!

About the parallax, I thought about it, but I think that it could be I little confusing, since I wanted to make everything black and white (except for the teleport cost), and I didn't had enought time to implement it in a way that was not confusing.

Your game is still amazing without It.

Very nice execution! This is a really polished game--everything feels well-oiled and professional. This is the third shooter that I've played so far, and it definitely is the most satisfying of the three. The teleport mechanic was neat, though to be honest it didn't really feel necessary; I played for a little while but never really felt like I was in any significant danger. I think the biggest thing that I was missing was something that increases the difficulty over time, like faster bubble movement.

Oh, yeah! Nice audio, too. The music was pleasant without being distracting, and the sounds for shooting and hitting a target were satisfying.

Overall, probably my favorite of the small handful I've seen so far.

Thanks for playing! :D

About the difficult, it was a little trick to me to increase it, I felt like I could be making the game way to hard over time so the increase may be just a little, but there is a increase over the max speed of the asteroids and the spawn time, but maybe it is wasn't enough.

Again, thank you for playing and for the comment! :)
