I really like this. The art is great, the music and sounds are nice and I liked that there are so many kinds of obstacles.

This is really great. The art is really nice and the sounds are great.  I also liked the movement penalty mechanic and the world that surrounds it makes a lot of sense. I love that the little gold pouch swings around as it gets full. The game does feel like it gets incredibly hard about midway through when it switches to the side and bottom (the guys with the little red balls can get very overwhelming). Also the level with the double missiles haha.

This is a million-dollar idea! This is such a fresh take on the bullet hell dodge-em-up genre.

The character movement feels suitably slippery but still manageable! I felt just barely under control while playing.

The art all looks great, and I love that you picked an underwater theme - it fits the carrying-capacity/treasure collection mechanic, and sets the game apart from the dozens of bullet hell games set in space. The thick outlines really make the sprites pop, and the assets are large and detailed enough that applying rotations doesn't distort them.

I wish the metric for victory was a little more clear - it seems like you just play all of the levels until the end, trying to achieve the highest score possible.

Very cool game, with exceptionally good looking art for a game jam! There were a lot of subtle details that showed me the polish and understanding that went in the overall design, such as the red flashing for anything that is a hazard, a generous small hitbox for the player, indicators for where the hazards would be coming from, etc.

The difficulty scaling was great, although at some point later in the game, I was so heavy that I couldn't get out of the way of some obstacles in time even when knowning where they would come from (but that could also be a skill issue). But the difficulty progression doesn't just add more hazards but also changes the formula a bit each level to keep things interesting.

A small thing btw, I didn't completely understand when a timeout would become a game over, I just saw I died at a score of 228.

Anyway, love the game, impressive for such a short time! :)

Thanks for playing the game and for the extensive feedback ^^

Actually when the time is up you just pass to the next wave/stage, that way the player doesn't get stuck, so you didn't really die, you just finished the game :)

Simple and effective game mechanics, and very fun! Really like the additional touch of how your acceleration is slower the more you're carrying, adds very good depth and a good extra challenge.

The visuals are really beautiful. I love the rotating submarine sprite! The mechanics are simple, intuitive and easy to understand. The game takes ca 10 minutes to complete, which makes it less enticing to try for a higher score, especially in a jam setting. But other than that, this is a nice game!
