This is one of the strongest implementations of the theme that I have seen! It would have been easy to just subtract points during the stage and show the final score at the end, but you really hammered home the penalties with the game-end summary!

The procedural terrain + checkpoint generation felt fair and organic! And in particular, it always felt obvious exactly how my jump works, which is a huge problem in a lot of top-down scrollers like this.

I wish the game got a little harder over time, either with faster scroll speed or more dangerous obstacles. It feels like I could play this forever once I mastered the core loop, so I think I would have much more of an incentive to chase a high score if it was progressively more difficult over time.

Surprisingly addicting and very trippy.  I had my vision wobbling after playing because of the optical illusion of the dots moving down the screen. The sound effects are so crunchy and nice haha. The art could be better but honestly did not matter for the fun  

Very fun, simple, and effective gameplay loop! Everything was very easy to understand after one or two attempts, and the game mechanics are straightforward but can still pose a challenge. I think it would be neat if it sped up as you got farther, because after a while I got into a rhythm and it wasn't feeling as difficult anymore.

Fun little runner (skier?) game! I think the sound effects for smacking into things are great.

Just curious: can you make it to the bottom of the mountain? I'm assuming no but am not sure.

One funny little bug / odd behavior: if I reload or try to close the tab after trying to start the game, chrome pops up an "are you sure?" dialogue and the sound glitches (basically repeating the same note over and over again) till I dismiss the dialogue box. Not a big deal at all, just hadn't encountered it before and thought you might find it interesting.

Fun game. Very to easy to understand and just challenging enough. It is a nice touch to show how many point I was penalized and how many points I would have had.
