Short but fun! Makes you think - do I save the wife or TV, haha :D

Cool idea for this theme, unfortunate that you don't see your family in the car after you have saved them, as you have said.

GET THE DOG! And maybe your child if you still have time :)

I really like the concept!
Reminded me a lot of a 2D version to "60 seconds!"

Submitted

This taught me how to treat my children! Pick 'em up and throw them :D

I'm glad you learned something valuable today!

Kind of a drastic slice of life :D

Nicely done <3

Short but a very nice game idea !

Thanks!

Nice little 2d spin on the game 60 Seconds! Especially grabbing people is fun. Would have been cool to get an end screen that shows what you've picked!

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it! We actually planned to have ending screens with at least each person you saved, but we ran out of time.

Not very long, but funny Game :D

Glad you found it funny!

Tough decisions under time pressure, what could possibly go wrong?

Escaped with my life but not my wife. Well damn.

Enjoyed looting humans from my own home :D

Great to hear

Nice idea
I really hope that the main character is trying to save everyone and not just stealing stuff
At least this is what I was doing (oops) :D

Developer

That... is a much funnier way to play the game, imaging you are kidnapping people and stealing.

Nice idea! The game fits the theme perfectly, and I can see a lot of potential here.

I did run into an issue where the Restart button didn’t always work, and the character's movement felt a bit too fast, making it tricky to navigate at times. Some music could also add a more dramatic touch to enhance the atmosphere. With a few adjustments, especially to the UI, this could turn into something really great. It’s already a solid and enjoyable game. Well done!

Thank you! There's definitely some improvements we could have made but we ran out of time. I figured out the issue with the restart button but only managed to fix it for the one in the normal level in time to submit (it was something weird with the way web versions of games restart scenes).

Cool idea, very intense feeling when the fire increases. I love how it says "press SPACE to pick up items" and then you can also pick up people, like they were items haha. Also I enjoy these little bu.. I mean features when you can throw items through walls into the next room :D
The Restart button didn't always work for me. Curious about your next jam! :)

Glad you enjoyed it! I figured out the issue with the restart button too late to fix unfortunately.

The dog and the picture of grandma—that’s all you need to save! (Though the restart button doesn’t seem to work after the ending >_<)

Developer

Glad you liked it! Sorry about the restart button, I threw in the end screen last minute and the method I used to restart the scene doesn't work with web versions of the game.
