Thank you for your feedback! We would love to make a more complex system for memory extraction. I actually had some branching for the last part of the game planned, but unfortunately had to cut it short due to lack of time. Will definitely look onto that after if we manage to spend some more time on the game :)

Thank you for giving our game a try!
I am happy you liked the Strawberry joke, haha. I was tempted to add some mushroom jokes as well, but managed to stop at this one only :D
Your mention that something could happen to Stella made me think it is a cool idea to add some twist like there is something wrong with her, by the way. And as for improving the minigame we'll definitely look into some ways to make it more customisable :)
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback!
You are right about Stella's oblivious nature :) Probably in the future like that you are able to choose the "feedback mode" of your AI helper, but it is stiill just the mode you set, not a real connection. Though maybe it still tries to connect? Who knows :)
Oh I would love to improve the memory interface! We wanted to make different types of memories, each for its own price, but it turned out a bit too ambitious for now :D
Hi! A cool game, thank you for the experience :)
I liked the charming characters, the humor and the overall cohesive and cozy-spooky atmosphere that you managed to create even though the visuals (mainly backgrounds) were of different style and mood! I also liked the idea of a law-abiding vampire who tries his best to be a good citizen. And the Van Helsing turned out to be such a reasonable man, haha. Great worldbuilding! And of course I very much liked the vampire jokes :)
One thing that I'd like to comment on is that I felt that there was a bit too much randomness. I was at first not quite sure what my goal at the shop was. It seemed like my character is much more aware of what is happening than I am, and dice rolling came out totally of the blue for me :) Once or twice I also got confused by the choices: for example, in my second walkthrough I clicked "Bite him" only to learn that I won't actually bite him! Or when I choose "care for the plant?" I first thought that I was going to think whether or not I should actually care, or maybe I had to find some ways how I could take care of the flower...But these are minor things :)
I was sometimes not sure which outcome I get and how impactful my choices are. Or do dice rolls play a greater role here? I rolled 18 on a stalker but for some reason it didn't help me. Is 18 too little?
I am also interested if reading journal articles about recipes is there for me just to learn about them, or does it impact my gameplay? I was also sure that there would be new entries as I was offered to read the journal a couple of times, sadly I couldn't find anything new :)
I had fun playing! Wishing you luck with your entry.
Hi! Congratulations on your first game jam :)
I spent an unreasonable amount of time in games that have likely inspired you to create this entry :D It definitely felt intense to try and balance all events and I can see that you have interpreted Harvest theme in several ways, that's cool!
You probably know already about visuals — text is a bit difficult to read, and it seems like the elements should be placed differently. I also wonder if you wrote the music yourself? It seemed fine but sometimes it sounded a bit awkward to me, maybe too harsh.
I really wish you added some story that goes through the game! Or maybe some characters as well? (I had only one playthrough so maybe I've missed that) I also liked how the atmosphere got darker, but I am not entirely sure if I understood why it happened :D my stats seemed pretty decent at the moment!
Do I understand correctly that there are some events connected to your stats? Or there are mainly random ones? I think it would be aswesome to have more feedback from the characters, so you could clearly see that your actions lead to this or that outcome.
Wish you luck!
I see where you are coming from, though among my friends and acquaintances it is quite typical to call a dog "a little bun", regardless of the gender of the person speaking. It could also depend on the dog, I believe :) You may speak differently to a toy poodle (this is the case for this story) and a German shepherd, for instance.
Hi! I am a fan of escape room games so I was excited to give your game a try.
First of all, I think your game have some very original ideas! I didn't expect it to be knowledge based at first :D I spent some time trying to understand what to do with the safe only then realising that I already have everything to solve it. That's smart! The way monster attacks actually helps you try to think harder, I also enjoyed that (I was like "all right, there something I am missing, let's look again" instead of being lost). [some SPOILERS ahead] I also believe I managed to escape, though I at first I didn't understand how I managed to "Kill", I first believed it was made with a torch. Maybe there could be some interaction sound, like a crowbar hit, to make it clearer? Some sound effects in general would be awesome to have!
I also found controls to be a bit challenging, especially as I expected that clicking on an object doesn't mean that I immediately use it. Combining paper pieces was also suddenly quite hard haha, as these pixels were not that easy to distinguish :)
I also think it would be awesome to have some additional story that explains the situation I found myself in! There seems to be a cool premise as I don't remember who I am and what happened, but to have a grand reveal would be really cool to have.
I had fun playing your game! Thanks :)
First of all — you have a beautiful logo :)
I enjoyed your take on the theme and really wish it was a full game, not a demo!
The art is impressive, I especially enjoyed the monsters :) It is an interesting visualisation (though I believe it is not only that) of a sleep paralysis.
In terms of a story I think it has a good build up and makes you quite engaged to learn what's coming next. Now I want to learn about the pendant and if what happened was connected to it :) I also liked the way you created a character who feels like no one understands her, but step by step she learns to connect with people surrounding her and is no longer afraid of her emotions.
One thing that I'd like to comment on is that sometimes I got stumbled upon some phrases, that didn't look that necessary for your story. I believe they just became overused, so sometimes they feel a bit unnatural. It is something like "now is not the time", "how could I forget", "just you and me", "we've talked about this" — as I could see, without them the story wouldn't lose anything, maybe even got better :)
Thank you so much for your detailed feedback! It will help us a ton to improve the game and the story.
The interactions are indeed written by a female person :) Though they are solely based on real interactions between a male dog owner and his dog. But I am interested what is the reason you saw it like that :)
You are right about the mini game, we didn't have enough time to implement more complex mechanics, so right now it is a bit random.
Regarding the emotions of the protagonist — it was the initial idea to make him not to describe his emotions, so that the player could deside for themselves what to think of various situations and concepts that they face. But perhaps it hasn't worked out the way I planned!
As we ran out of time to do some polishing and proofreading, there might be even more mistakes than you have pointed out, sorry about that! I am grateful for your help with these. I would certainly spend some time on fixing it after the jam ends.
I saw the game after voting ended and wanted to play it as the idea of interacting with the world only through listening sounded quite fascinating! It also reminded me a bit of The Curse of the Golden Idol :)
I enjoyed the investigation and the way you gave little pieces of information here an there! Top work, and the visuals are also cool: simple and stylish.
Sadly I got stuck whilesolving the crime (spoilers ahead): I understood who the murderer is, but I wasn't able to find his first name. I listened to all the dialogues multiple times and decided that maybe I was wrong about his identity. After I tried to accuse another person, I got the ending that it was wrong (of course). I had to check the solution where I learned that my first assumptions were correct! However the dialogue where you learn the murderer's first name never played for me (if I understood it correctly). I examined all scenes with E, and the scene where E. talks to A. (if this is the scene that was mentioned in the solution) has no dialogue. Should it have it? Maybe there is a way to trigger the dialogue that I didn't think of? Now this bothers me haha
Ohh this Back to the Future reference!
A very enjoyable game, and I especially like that your take on a loop mechanic feels very smooth and comfortable — you feel engaged to go on and explore more possibilities and dangers, as both of them seem fun :)
The art style is awesome, the main antagonist is quite charismatic in particular! And the little detail with the names on the wall is also impressive.
I can't think much of any suggestions as everything seems solid. One minor comment is that it is not immediately clear that there are several items in the sink cabinet — they look like a "whole" because of the similar colors and I didn't expect it to be more than one thing :)
5 out of 5!
Such a cool concept! From the very start the music and the looping mechanic gets you immediately hooked. I also enjoyed the mysterious atmosphere you created, and that breathing behind your back is soo chilling *_*
I had some hard time trying to loop the song though :D First I wanted to rewind the song just with my mouse, but it didn't work. Then I tried to start the new song in a new window as the first had ended, but also to no avail :) Only after that I understood how it was supposed to work haha
However if you close the window with the lullaby completely, the monster doesn't activate at all :D I didn't use that cheat as it made no sense to do, but this was a surprise x)
Regarding the puzzles I think it is really interesting how you rely on audio hints and use different means to proceed. The only thing that I would love to know more about is who we are and what are we trying to do! You probably planned on revealing it later is it is just a demo, but it would be really exciting to learn why these files are locked and what is our goal in unlocking them. Maybe we could do something with the creature after we learn the whole story?
A very solid entry!
What I thought was meant as a rage quitting game turned out a polished game with fun gameplay, great attention to details and nice plot twist.
At first I closed it when I saw how sensitive my mouse was. Then I saw in a comments that this is adjustable with settings and returned to the game. After several burned pancakes and no clue what to do I closed it one more time. Then I noticed something about the story in the comments and opened it again. During that time I also saw that you can change cooking style from toggle to hold which was game changer for me - cooking became an art, not frustration.
After that I decided to take a walk and saw the level - and it is really well done regarding the details with the cameras and fake trees. That sparkled questions like "What is going on here" and "Who need so much pancakes". And then I became immersed.
I don't know how you managed to do this in 4 days, but this is art. Way to go. Thank you for this experience.
One note - scroll wheel did not seem to work for me, I had to do some fancy pirouettes to serve my lovely pancakes.
A cool take on the theme! Reminded me of Anne Boleyn a bit (if she had some magic skills :D).
I managed to get two endings: regrowing a limb and killing the prince after running out of sanity . Wonder what other two might be!
As a suggestion it would be awesome to have more branching as you follow different paths, so that the loop might feel a bit longer. Apart from that everything seems very solid!
The concept is interesting and the minimalistic visuals are quite pleasant! I also liked the idea you are sending here, but without text description I would probably not get it just from playing :)
I probably wish that there was more variety in the gameplay, as right now it looks more like a task that you have to fulfill and it might get a bit tiring on the way.
I also pressed "play" and there was a hard mode on default that I didn't notice, and I was shocked by the size of the map!
Adding some boosters, additional points of interest to the maze could make the journey more exciting, in my opinion :)
