I love the frog! I really like that you have a save system, definitely a must when we are talking ps1 games! The animations are nice and the grapple type feature is really fun, I loved how in some parts I nearly fell then remembered I can grapple and flicked my mouse onto it and felt like a god gamer, after many, that is the first game that felt so good in movement, you have done very well!

It's kind of hard giving feedback on a product that has such major bugs, where I can't progress. I see that you put a lot of work into it, and I feel bad giving a rating based on 5% of the game..

Developer

Yeah, sorry about that.

We all hate unity builds sometimes.. It's alright. If you feel you've made significant or even just a little progress on your game development journey, you should take it as a win! ;)

This is the kind of game that makes me excited about indie development. Fantastic job!

Developer

Thank you!

Love the tongue grapple idea! I think it could be even cooler if it was the main movement mechanic, without walking or jumping

Developer

Hm. That would be interesting. Thanks for playing!

I enjoy the aesthetic and humor of this game a lot, im not sure if this was an issue on my end but unfortunately the sensitivity was way too high and from the level design its really hard to tell where the player should go next. Nonetheless i still enjoyed this short experience even though i couldnt finish the game! :]

Developer(+1)

Sorry about that. I was going to put mouse sensitivity in the options, but I ran out of time.

No problem at all!! We also couldnt add a bunch of things we wanted to our game cuz of the deadline lol, so i feel you. But as i said i still enjoyed your game a bunch :>

I really enjoyed this - the little bit of it that is playable sadly. Frog player idea is super unique, and the tongue grapple mechanic is really fun. I enjoyed the frog hopping animation a lot too. Loved the music, I found myself jamin' along to it while playing.

As Jay said below, unfortunately the platforms have no collision and makes the game unplayable past the first area. Would have loved to have played further.

Developer

Thanks for playing. I'll work on fixing the bugs and post an updated build. Hopefully you come back to play it again!

alright, this game has the protential to be good, though there is a major game-breaking bug where the moving cube platforms are passable, meaning that I can't progress any further.

but everything feels fleshed out and I did enjoy the game.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Sorry about the bug. The funny thing is, it worked fine in the editor before I built the game.
