Super nice tool! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the Pixel Weekend Jam #2 games, if you’d like to take a look. :)

It didn't work quite right on Chrome (Version 65.0.3325.181): the block in the upper left didn't change color, though they had different effects when placed.  It worked fine in Microsoft Edge, though.

I like the concept!  I had fun drawing lots of squiggles and trying to navigate my way through them.

Developer

That's weird. It's probably an issue with webgl, as the color of the blocks is determined by webgl effects, although I tested the game in chrome and it worked alright for me, so I dunno. That's kinda strange, but I'm glad you finally managed to get it working.

I really like this concept. I'm gonna have to experiment more later (definitely with a cheat sheet because every time I switched colors I forgot all the others =P).

Developer

Hey, thanks. Glad you've enjoyed the "game" so far, and I wish you luck on your quest to rediscover the function of the different colored blocks. :P

Nice work ! What a nice and generous idea. The interface could have been a little bit easier but is still very enjoyable. Do you plan to work more on it ?

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, the UI could probably use some work, and I do actually want to try to update this game, at least a few times, to add stuff that I wanted to add but didn't have time to, like checkpoint flags, enemies, decorative objects, moving blocks, and more stuff of that variety.

Can't wait to see that !

I had quite some fun with it, trying to figure out mechanics and such. Still dunno what the blue block is for.

It seems that you can jump through it from below, a one way platform

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

That is correct! Also, an additional bug feature relating to them is that when standing on a falling green platform, you can go through them from the top. So that's something, I guess.
