  • This is a really fun game! Super polished for 2 weeks worth of work. Nice job!

Did you include your Game Design Document in your downloadable files?
Yes

Tell us about your game!
A tower-defense-like wave system combined with a cooking management game. Many factors in this game can be associated with the theme of 'it's spreading,' from the story/scenario to the tables, to the never-ending expansion of your table spread or the influx of crazy ferrets.

Everyone hates the Meat Cake.
Current record Wave 68

Did you remember to include your Game Design Document?

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?

Extra Notes
Was very fun making this game, we are very tired but testing our skills like this feels good when you end up with a game at the end!

Omg! Reminds me a Pizza Possum but with more pizza hahah I think it's for the colors and lowpoly but the gameplay it's diferentn I want more cute ferrets. I really enjoy it!

Really good game , hits every target, all I think this needs is a difficulty setting as it would be good to go,

Very cute ! Game is simple and straight to the point. The animations are amazing !
Loved the idea, between a tower defense, and in my opinion it felt more like a clicker than cooking manager.
Good idea, great execution.
On the "bad" points : I kinda didn't understand the "stress" part. For me I was more worried they would become too fat  instead of stressed :D
Also, biggest bathroom I've ever seen !

The ferrets are very cute! I love the way they run!
The UI is very nice, reminds me of the Sims and Overcooked
I absolutely suck at the game, but I can see others would thrive and win.

Pros:

  • Lovely graphics
  • Great UI - Purchase menu is very nice
  • Animation for the ferrets are great
  • Tutorial level intro is fantastic
  • Too hard for my ferret brain

Improvement Ops:

  • Sound menu! Need to  control volume
  • Resolution menu , need to add windows mode as well
  • Zoom in and out to see the cute ferrets

Solid game 100% would recommend

Wow y'all! This game is great. Hilarious implementation of a tower defense game/plateup. Clever and very fun!

This is SUPER polished. The feedback I get from clicking buttons, earning money, and placing things in the scene is great. The visuals are also on point--simple, stylish, and good color scheme.

I honestly don't have a lot of critique. If I have to nit-pick I might say the learn curve is a little steep and I felt sort of thrown in without knowing what's best to do, etc. That said, easy tweak if you decide to continue pursuing.

Love the artwork and really like the stress/money tradeoff. Skipping very important part in a ‘tower defense’ game so i like that it is in this one. I also love the animation of the ferrets. The only thing I would love to see is different kind of ferrets might prefer different kind of food, or special enemies in waves, or upgradable tables. Just to make it a bit more dynamic. I felt personally after like 15 waves, yes it gets harder but the experience you get with the game does not change.

Awesome concept and hope you keep making it bigger :D

Very slick! UI, animation, sound, everything cohesive and demonstrates experience and talent. I think the thing I noticed the most was that it didn't matter enough what I did... although the ferrets were made a bit sad by pizza, they didn't seem to care enough to really lose me the game? It was also tricky not to be able to replace the type of food on the table, but maybe that's "working as intended" :)

Great submission!

Amazing, love the graphics and how smooth it is (except a small lag when you about to start the game). Extremely cute ferrets and design. Really reminds me of Overcooked and Plate Up!.

I could see this game with some more steps and challenges end up on steam!

Wish you all the luck!

Super impressive! The polish on this is crazy. My only complaint is that it's a bit hard to understand the mechanics and where stress comes from, as well as why there was a whole house there when the whole game seemed to take place in the living room. But other than that, really really good.

Developer(+2)

yes the stress is stressful... Not in a good way and not intuitive as we would like to be. Sadly not enough time to polish it but we love the idea overall

The setting is basically you are hosting a feast some call it "table spread" for Thor's fan base and you host it in your house. The idea is that so many fans show up that you have to spread the tables all over the town etc (future content) not just your house.

It's really impressive how quickly this was made. I had a lot of graphical glitches with the ferrets glitching on the tables. There was also one time where it seemed like I lost for no reason. I had 0 or 1% stress the whole game and then I suddenly game overed. I think if the screen changed or flashed a hue slightly as well that would help make it more obvious when you are close to losing, because it seemed very sudden. I don't play games with audio, so if I had perhaps it wouldn't have been an issue. A pause button would have also been a nice addition. If there was one, I could not find it. Very solid game though. Fun to play and great premise + execution. I think there might be some balancing issues, but with how quickly this was put together I wouldn't expect perfect balance.

ferrets jump over tables and that causes stress. Same when they don't have a table to seat 😄 I agree that the stress in the game isn't properly polished to educate the player of how it works. "The glitches" on table is them eating and then "swimming in food" we just didn't have time to make the food react properly or remove the food haha. Thanks for your words, I agree with what you said, sadly we can't re-upload the fixes to balance it a bit  but hope it's fun either way!!😄

This game is amazing.

I really love the way its all put together, the ferrets are really funny, and it is actually a game! Putting out a big spread of food for the ferrets is awesome lol.
