Game description:

A third-person arcade rail shooter game (such as "Space Harrier", "Attack Animal Gakuen" or "Burning Force")

You play as one of a pair of sisters who after school go to an interactive game room where they randomly choose an unknown arcade cockpit with a game called "CyberTrap".

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Since the situation takes place in the future, here it is important to explain one unique technology that will become a part of ordinary lives:

For each citizen at birth, a special chip is automatically added to the head.
This chip allows an individual to pay, connect, communicate with others, and legitimize… with just a thought.

It is a unique ID chip for individuals.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And this chip is also owned by the mentioned sisters, who must join the game using a special new generation USB cable to the side of the head, where they have their chip.

The game cannot be exited by simply unplugging the cable. They must either be eliminated in the game, or finish the game or lose. Otherwise, there is a risk of brain injury caused by a short circuit.
When the sisters connect, they are immediately drawn into the game system, which closes their possibility to disconnect. Their bodies are immediately limp and everything takes place only in the game world.

Behind this relatively inconspicuous crime is a cyber-criminal organization that expands its game world with locked "souls" of the players, which turn into game enemies in the game.

The sisters must not lose in this game, as their "souls" would then become part of the game system.

The goal of the game is to finish the game to the end, because during the battles in the game, the sisters will be helped by a specialized team of rescue hackers (under the code name "Bright Doors") who are looking for lost "souls" and will try to find their connections and safely return to their bodies.

The further away the player is, the closer the "Bright Doors" will be to your rescue.

How does it fit the theme?
My most Favorite Theme ever!!! Thanks a lot!!!

Great entry! Got to appreciate that Play Station logo on the OST's cover art, it definitely sounds like PS games were an inspiration to it. Also I love the plot haha, talking about PS games, it reminds me of the .hack series of games. The music is completely different though.

I love it! Great job!

Great tracks as always. Cool rhythms, warm pads, spacey harmonies. Amazing!

Neat 90s vibe here! I love the robot voice announcements, how very 90 arcade cockpit, haha. Cool story, too!

Super polished mix, lots of interesting ear candy and progression going on, plenty of risers and sweeps to keep the energy level up!

It’s funny, I get get Phantasy Star Online vibes from this, which sort of makes sense, given the topic! The drum & bass style works really well with these cool VGM pads.

Great work. :)

Super fun tracks! Really impressive work for a jam and art looks great. I'd love to play a game with this in the soundtrack.

Love the rhythms in this. Really nice lead lines. Could definitely hear this as a game sound-track.

Damn I love when the beat and the whistle synth come in during Cybernetic Highway, and then the hook that comes in a little after. Everything blends together really nicely. I hope this makes it on spotify so I can add it to my running playlist :)

What a great fusion of genres! Great quality of work, considering, this was made in such a short time! And it would also work in lots of game genres not just for the game you described!

I don't know what to say other than your music could totally fit in a fully polished game today and no one would know that this was made during a 48h crunchtime Jam. This is impressive, really really well done!

Really really nice stuff

Damn this is so sick! Your style is awesome

The "mindscape" vibe of both tracks is really good. Love the loops, seems really fitting for an arcade game to lock you in the action.

Great job! I really feel the mood!

This is awesome, it's so energetic! Love the driving basslines and the soaring synth pads over top. Definitely reminds me of sci-fi games from the PS1 (and also the Tekken 4 soundtrack!)

Attract mode: Woaaaaah. Awesome vibes here. Excellent drums. Excellent synth washes. Excellent pads. Excellent basslines. Definitely nailed that PS era sound. I have nothing to add really. Everything just fits perfectly. Love that glidey lead too!

Cybernetic highway: Cool use of vocals in the opening. Excellent synthwork again. Love all the little noise effects. The swooshes and sweeps you got going on. Then gliding into some sweet videogamey early dnb/breakbeat sounds. Amazing.

Normally I pick a favourite, but in this case, it's too difficult to pick a fav. Both are going on my rotation for sure. 100/100 :)

Amazing! I love everything about this, the tracks, the sounds (I'm a huge fan of tracker music and you're seriously good at it), the rythm, the robotic voice, the airy synths and ambience, it all flows perfectly together. I also love the story you came up with and the game cover, and how it all just fits. Seriously, hats off!

I love how the cover photo looks like an old PS2 game. I also like the similarities the story draws to shows like SAO. Cool concept.

I really like the drums and the ambiance of the whole piece. Really makes it feel like a game that's hiding what's truly going on behind a nice exterior.

Your soundtrack really fits well with the game idea you came up with. Could easily be an actual game soundtrack. Just really well done overall!

Music sounds fantastic, I like the speech samples, so cool.
Also, game sounds fun, I don't usually likes rail shooter games, but story is interesting... also, having two sexy heroines surely does help ^_^.
