Excellent Wolfenstein engine clone. My only minor criticism is that the movement feels a bit on ice. You seem to slide to a stop when you release the keys. A quicker drop off of momentum would make it feel better.

Great job, really impressive. Love the style, love the music, great SFX, very satisfying shotgun. Really captures the great things about Wolfenstein 3D era shooters well. My kids said the graphics are better than super mario 64 too - that's some high praise!

wow :0 oh my gosh, i am floored you cranked this out in 9 days. really engaging, fluid gameplay. i found i kept running out of ammo too soon, even with the frequent pickups. perhaps i need to get good? :)

the inclusion of a map editor is equally flooring. this kind of stuff can make your game immortal. i super dig the work you put into this. well done!

Thank you, i'm glad that you liked my game! Aslo i'm think level design is big problem, because i was making levels in a hurry a few hours before deadline). So this leads to problems such as bad item and enemy placement, small size fo the maps. Maybe after the jam i will make new  levels. When I  developed this game, I wanted to make 5-8 levels to feel like a completed episode (like episodes from original DOOM) but time has set its own conditions)))

word. i would love to see a full episode now that there aren't deadlines keeping the level design from shining ✨

You absolutely nailed the retro FPS feel. The movement and gun play is so on point, it really feels like playing doom. Nice work on the submission!

Feel fresh, Great game, I love the music!

Very well done! The high framerate made it feel really smooth. Looked and felt exactly like Doom. Graphics, animation, and music were all great.

I do wish you'd provided a melee weapon as a fallback, because I ran out of ammo (and also apparently missed the shotgun?) and had only to accept my fate. :( haha

Thank you for your comment! Yes, good point about melee weapon, it's a design problem that should be solved (Or I can say that it's actually a feature and you need to manage your resources :)  ) And about shotgun, you can find it on level 2 and and near start of level 3.

Old school FPS games never get old. Good show!

Very impressive. A faithful recreation of early 90s shooters :D

Awesome game, it feels so much like an old school FPS with the movement animation and graphics etc.
