The graphics are really good and the gameplay is very fun. I love how you expand bit by bit and make a monster base. I would really love to play a more complete version of this!
Brutally difficult, but very fun! Being able to queue up buildings would be nice, as well as being able to select one to place without starting another one going. I feel like the repair drones could do with being a little stronger as well, as it is you can have quite a few of them around and they won’t really able to keep your stuff alive. Despite that, the game is still really fun and I played it several times trying to get a nice maintainable base going! Great job on the submission.
Thanks for the feedback. I will polish the game up a bit after the game jam is over.
Cool game, I would love to see it get fleshed out even further. Maybe enemy units could start getting stronger when you get some number of waves in and then maybe there could be a way to research player unit upgrades. I got up to somewhere past wave 35 and at that point the enemy ground units were irrelevant and I was mostly just rebuilding what the jets destroyed and expanding the base. It would be nice if there were buttons to build like 10 units or something instead of just 1 at a time. Also, there should be shortcut keys to build/place units.
All points noted =) Thanks for playing
From start not clear how to play. But later after 20 waves+ it looks nice. This silicon-gflops mechanics and especially how the AI works very interesting. After i see how the plane moving in same way i`v started to build base vertically in four columns and many rows.. and planes starting to flight and attack vertically. Exactly all over the base. One thing just a bit annoying about how to make building queue in later game when i have enough silicon to make queue for 10 Refiner`s . If i press on floor its ok i can click 10 times in same time, pick it, and click on the map to build 10 pieces. But until first Silicon Refinery finished, cant add another.
Thanks for the feedback. I think I will work on the game a bit after the jam is over.
Not sure I understand how to play. But looks fun and well done.
I love the old school C&C vibe from this game and the gameplay itself is fun, I didn't really get what GFlops are for or if you really need them or not. This was a really cool way to use the theme and if you added more buildings and types of enemies it could be generally a good mobile game.
We'll see... :^)
oh man this game is brutal! i really dig it. the moody atmosphere, the sound, the "become conscious" button, it's a great scenario. i managed to get to wave 4 but those airstrikes ruined me.
i have two pieces of feedback: the placement preview is a little misleading since things get placed at the mouse cursor, which rests above the preview, causing a few misplacements! i also think the time to build structures could be reduced. i found that even with perfect timing you couldn't get defenses up by the time the first wave hits.
i hope ya keeping working on it! :)
Thanks for the valuable feedback, it's really appreciated! Yeah I noticed the misplacement issue myself today when I watched a friend play it haha. Crazy how you can miss the most obvious problems when you are the one making the game.
There are a lot of balancing issues right now. I think I'll polish the version up a bit after the jam but won't add tons of content.
VERY COOL GAME, but I couldn’t beat it, it’s like a until the last man survival thing, but you’re a MACHINE.
Runned on linux with wine!!
thank you for giving it a try! How far did you get?
I don’t remember the wave number, I just remember that the jets started coming and I had only one attack drone to defend everything, then it got destroyed by the jets
Must have been wave #3 then :D
Yeah the difficulty is really punishing at the moment. Maybe I'll tweak it a bit after the Jam is over.
I'll make sure to try your game when I get home!
