Великолепная игра. Мне очень нравится такой визуальный стиль, совмещающий мультяшность и реалистичные обьекты и материалы. Этим игра и привлекла. К управлению нужно немного привыкнуть, и полноценно все понял только после того как зашел в меню (хотелось бы небольшой туториал).

Момент с монеткой очень рассмешил)) Ты смотришь на нее, она смотрит на тебя....

Yes, there is a bug with level end position. I forgot to make default end position when map editor starts, and so exit is not exist and you can't change place where exit should be.

You can fix this if you save your map (it will be in  maps/ folder ) , open file with text editor and add this line

endlevel:position="3,3":

after player:position=

Now exit will appear. It's just position that tells which wall is intractable and act as exit, so it could be any wall you want, not just with blue texture as i did in my levels.


After a while I will improve the engine. I really want to make things you mentioned and also some graphical features like lightmaps or dynamic light sources, sky texture, particles, enemy destruction not drawn in sprite but multiple different sprites scattered across the map.

I want to get the most out of the raycast engine)) And i hope my next project will be more complex engine actually like DOOM engine or BUILD

Thank you, i'm glad that you liked my game! Aslo i'm think level design is big problem, because i was making levels in a hurry a few hours before deadline). So this leads to problems such as bad item and enemy placement, small size fo the maps. Maybe after the jam i will make new  levels. When I  developed this game, I wanted to make 5-8 levels to feel like a completed episode (like episodes from original DOOM) but time has set its own conditions)))

Thank you for your comment! Yes, good point about melee weapon, it's a design problem that should be solved (Or I can say that it's actually a feature and you need to manage your resources :)  ) And about shotgun, you can find it on level 2 and and near start of level 3.
