I wasn't able to complete the game in time, so my take will be a bit limited in nature :)
In my current playthrough, I managed to experience the tutorial, strolling through the hub-ish area, obtaining the fire orb and getting game over'd atttempting to reach the lightning orb while collecting none of the secrets.
(I blame it on my bad time management, my poor skills in platforming games and watching the enemies up close for far too long... 😅)

Even if my struggle to get the platforming aspect made progress go quite a bit slow on my end, I adored the time I had in there! The tense atmosphere all around made me quite scared to move and gave me quite a bit of a shock when the enemy spotted me the first couple times, but after getting the hang of things the tense feeling quickly turned into nailing the rather tough plattforming obstacles strewing across the world! Figuring out the way to the fire orb for example had me look quite hardly to spot the blocks one can jump from to get to the upper end of the room - once again, my lack of experience can be put to blame here, but maybe including more visual types of terrain to differentiate from the stone/brick-ish look all over could help freshen up the experience and lead the eye towards the way of progress :D
Bonus points for the neat tutorial provided at the start of the game - incentivising it with a 1UP at the end does sweeten the deal of learning the controls and basic mechanics to the full effect :3

The theme of the game is neatly integrated with the other obstacle faced in the game - those pesky demons! Being able to only rely on stealth to take care of them temporarily is a great choice, for which the natural formation of the level as well as the hiding spots strewn all across can be used.

From what you might be feeling, I clearly enjoyed getting caught by the enemies 😊
Being able to see the outcome when getting caught in peace, having a movable camera to see the action from different angles and being able to skip it easily are all quite neat checks in my book! The camera movement could be made faster in my opinion, but nothing all too breaking, all things considered :)
I love the three h scenes painted there! 💖

I will be continuing my andventure in your ruin with much fun and joy and try to discover all of your secrets! Great job in crafting such a sweet game 😊

Aww, that was really sweet ^^

Pretty fun stealth elements in this game, and I like the art for the witch! The jump dash movement is very fun to use. After getting the fire magic, there was an area where you go upwards, and I happened to fall into a spot that seemed like you couldn't get out of. I ended up restarting and realized later that I could have wall jumped out instead.

Developer

oh, I'll look that over the next time I update something. I kinda had the intention that you'd be able to beat it without using any of the advanced movement :p

Thx for playing ^^

Ok, this is something I’d definitely dump more time in :D A bit too sleepy right now and can’t get the platforming parts right, especially the walljump, rotation after it completely disorients me even after I’ve figured out that it just makes a 180 degrees rotation - I didn’t manage to finish that “advanced” tutorial second jump no matter how many times I’ve tried. But the idea feels extremely cool, I hope I’ll figure out how to time jumps properly - never managed to make it past the checkers part in the second room of the main area.

Don't worry, you can beat the demo with just normal jumps and a bit of sneaking :p

Wonderful presentation and cool gameplay mechanics. The Ding Dong Dragon will forever haunt my dreams....

Developer

Nice ^^
It was really fun working with someone else on a project like this :)

I think I may have encountered a bug that wont let me finish the game. I got the fire power, and the air power and made it across the slanted parkour pillar in the sky but it wouldn't let me teleport to the next section. The trigger for the teleport in the sky is turned off or something. The ending animations when the dragon man catches you are great! Getting stuck on the ledges while jumping was a bit frustrating but the dash jump helped and it was fun hiding from the giant dick dragon in the sky lol.

Developer

yea id forgot to link it to the ending screen :|
Works now :)

This was a pretty good game, but i got some bugs in my play. After the wind glyph unlock i couldn't go through the next portal, and after 4 or so captures, both the models broke and just T-posed into each other during the caught scene. Other than that, very promising game.

Yea, it was a tight deadline to hit :p
Those things have been fixed now at least ^^

I really liked this one, it has that Unreal feel to it. The movement felt good after I figured it out.

I especially liked the sprite in corner and  how she's used to represent "chances" by her clothes and stand still Hiding by going dark!

Developer(+1)

Yea ^^ I really like when you get a chance to do something interesting with the UI :)

Dont like horror games, but this one was pretty good, but hard. Im stuck on the parkour level after gaining fire magic

Basically, just run back to the area you started at and run through the fire walls in between the two pillars. You should see the exit after that.

Does the compass work? It's at least intended to point you in the right direction :)
