Really fun and cute game. I really enjoy the underwater scenery and the fishes! :)
Nice that is build with raylib, don't see that many games. Nice mechanic and quite grindy :)
The starting music is waaay too loud.
Really fun diving game with cute art! I would've wished for more mechanics, as it has tons of potential to expand, but obviously that was limited through the time constraint of the jam.
Great game!
Very cute and comfy game :-]] Many fish were collected!! Just one more fish mentality killed me like 3 times...
Fun gameplay and mechanics, really liked how you slowed down as you have less air, it's a nice detail !
A relaxing fishing experience with nice visuals.
It a perfect game to unwind with!
Great job!
So adorable! Awesome!
So adorable! Awesome!
Feels like you have the zen of Dave the Diver here. I liked the into a lot. A simple but good take on the jam theme!
Definitely, Dave the Diver was a big inspiration. I had planned to add a shop for exchanging points, but unfortunately, I ran out of time to implement that feature.
The intro is nice. This has potential to become more compelling but needs more danger. Maybe a wandering enemy to block off certain screens. More depth and of course the ability to replenish air away from the boat (but only drop treasure at the boat)
I was actually thinking of adding some "enemies" like jellyfish, but believe it or not I scratched the idea because it was taking too much time for me to do the pixel art for it. Those dangerous sea creatures were out-of-scope for my drawing skills haha.
Thank you for the feedback!
I love what you’ve achieved with so few pixels! I think the graphics are simply beautiful, and the game is fun to play.
It is really surprising to me that people actually liked the artwork, It was one of my first attempts on trying to do something like that. It gave me the motivation I needed to keep studying art techniques.
Thank you!
Very fun game, good graphics and simple and addictive mechanics. I will definitely come back here to play a little more calmly later.
Thank you! I am planning on improving the game on a last update based on all the feedback I've received.
So you will be (hopefully) checking a better version of the game. haha
Nice little game!
I drowned while afloat but where there was no boat...
It seems like that little boat is stealing all the oxygen in the world!
I was just kidding, it's a cute game! I would have liked a win condition though
Hahaha. Yeah, I think it was a bad design choice not to allow oxygen away from the boat, got a lot of feedback on that. It is not intuitive at all.
I will probably change that in the future, when I have more time.
About a win condition, I was thinking on allowing the player to get in the boat whenever they wanted and exchange the points for perks or customization, but I had to cut that idea off.
Thank you for the feedback!
Really good!
I love the simplistic art and the intro at the beginning telling the story!
Thank you for complimenting the art, it is my first attempt to create the game all by myself. Usually I just code, this time I wanted to challenge myself a little bit more so I worked on the art too.
Thank you!
This is fun ! Nice to dive about and imagine being there :)
Exactly! I watched The Last of the Sea Women just a few days before the Jam started, and I was so inspired by their story and it fit the theme of the Jam perfectly, so I decided to create a game based on them.
Thank you for playing and for the feedback!
A fun little fishing game. The slowdown mechanic builds a lot of tension. There doesn't seem to be a way to win. I got 405 points before I decided to stop.
Very nice otherwise.
Thank you, I think I should really should've thought about a win condition.
