I love that you took the theme in a different direction.  Not sure if you meant to make this to be also satire RE: the state of law enforcement but it's probably just my personal take.  I wish the game was full screen and maybe had some background music or ambience.  GJ!

Developer(+1)

Always of the belief that even though my "goal" wasn't to comment on law enforcement in that way, my lived experiences have resulted in me making this game, which inherently gives some look into my subconcious beliefs regarding them. Basically, you're definitely valid!

I didn't want to have a full screen option - the pixel art doesn't scale that well IMO and looks best small. The lack of background music was moreso laziness though yes XD

What a gem! Funny and unexpected, a great play on words as well. The game is sort-of like a reverse "Simon Says" with great dialogue!

Very funny reading your comment and then seeing your submission is also a pun title XD will have to check it out! thanks for the kind words

Funny to create a story game on a so small screen! Is it possible to pass the dancing part or I'm just very bad at it? (I'm not robert!)

Developer

haha thanks! and yeah so that part is definitely unclear - basically once the arrows start falling, you move around with the arrow keys to touch as many as possible. If you get a bunch (it's pretty lenient) you will proceed to the last "challenge". Cheers! (I'm also not Robert)

I love the art on this one, that title text is beautiful. And the title is 10/10. Awesome stuff.

Developer

THANKS!!! :DDD

Really fun and silly! Reminds me a little of Simon Says with how carefully you have to listen. And it looks really nice too!

Developer

thanks a ton!

I had a lot of fun living in poor Roberto's shoes. Very fun game, I'm going to play again more calmly after the game jam.

Developer

appreciate it! thanks

Amazing... very fun. Always love these kind of games like "There is no game". Is it meant to be an inside joke that the phrase is actually "cops and robbers" and I didn't get it until I looked it up?

Although I must say, some more polish in the gameplay sections would be nice. It's clearly meant to be a game about making choices rather than having mad skillz. The dancing section is what got me the first time, because I assumed it would be like DDR, without moving left and right, just pressing different-direction arrows. And at the very least I'd expect the arrows to disappear once I did them, so that I know I didn't miss any. The second time I was really unsure of whether I had done it right.

As for the error the other guy posted about, some people get it when playing Godot games on Firefox (including me), so I had to get Chromium (ugh). It'd be nice if you also uploaded a downloadable version.

Developer

Thanks for all the kind words :) Yeah it's supposed to be a play on "cops and robbers" haha.

And yes definitely agree on the DDR section - it was a last minute addition and I realized after submitting that it would make waaay more sense to have the arrows be not-arrows, or actual directions, or something. I also probably could have had a message alert or something that it was going to start, but yeah this part was all done Sunday night haha.

And I see about the error - I think I cannot upload more versions during judging period, but I will be sure to next week if anyone is looking to play it after that. Thanks again and I'm so glad you enjoyed it!!!!!!!
