I also made a shmup game, which fully respected Nokia's restrictions. But yours got a lot more polished and interesting. It has the potential to become a super solid game, congratulations!

This is really cool and the art and animations are incredible

The restrictions aren't met (higher than 84x48 res), he game feels pretty generic, but the artwork is absolutely jaw dropping! Cheers for that!!

Beautiful art and massive in scope for a week's work! Breaking the fundamental resolution I feel is a big breach of the Jam's restrictions, but as a game itself it is simply awesome. I had a huge bug I don't see anyone else mentioning though - once I entered the docking station and the game begins I can see everything in the layout outside of the intended gameplay window. Still, fantastic work. I really liked the level transition animation btw, very pro.

If you're talking about the ui in the docking port I intentionally removed it because there is no use of shooting and using shield in there :D.

I know I broke the resolution ToT

no I’m just talking about the resolution being broken and that it starts happening from the docking port just in case you didn’t know 👍 good luck in fixing it!

The art and game look really good, but are way beyond the restrictions of the Jam.

Developer

I realized that I broke the rules after 4 days into the jam (due to some misconception :(() But I didn't have the guts to start the art from scratch(sad story) . So I just finished the rest of the game.

Really cool, I love 2D shooters! I agree with the comment that it might be a little more fun if the enemies had less health. I felt like I had to focus fire on them for a long time. Beautiful artwork.

Yes the health being more is a flaw that needs to be taken care of. I'm glad you played my game !!

This seems to be the most polished game here, though it doesn't exactly comply with the restrictions given

Developer

Yes not the desired resolution :). I messed up

Cool game. I love the visuals, but definitely > 84x48 resolution.

Developer

Hey stemat!! Thanks for playing the game!

Graphics look great with sweet animations. It's a bit dialog heavy and the enemies come at the player slowly. A good tweak would be for the enemies to come faster while lowering their armor, as well as possibly spawning more enemies.

I'm a big fan of the graphics!

Developer

I'll definitely give it a try thanks

The game looks fun from the content on the page, though I only got as far as the docking section.

I was waiting there for like a minute and a half, I wasn't sure if I was supposed to press anything or not move or do this do that. Was a little unclear.

Game broke!!! Trying to reupload!!
