Simple but well made. I included it in my Movie Game Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to check it out! :)

I was able to play in a browser version and can say it was a fantastic experience. I really like the simple controls but challenging design. The only bad thing is that now I want to go out to lunch and have a beer.

Cheers! thanks so much for contacting me to resolve the issue I was having!

What happened ?

My game has never done that, and it has already been streamed by anomulus0 & TurianShepard.

So, if you still want to try this game, you can play the browser version available here :

I'm sorry for the troubles you've encountered.

Thank you ! Do you have finished the game easily ?

I actually enjoyed the visuals quite a bit, even silly, they fit the theme of the movie very well. I had a tough time with the final scene, felt a bit more like luck than any skill on my part, but I thought the level progression was well done. Best "flappy bird" style game I think I've ever played! Great job and keep up the good work!

Thank you for testing my game and for your very motivating words. I admit that the graphics are strange, but I consider too that they correspond very well to the main character in the movie. So you've finished the game ? Congratulations ! Not easy at all, and I'm sure that winning can't be the fruit of luck only (or I'm definitively unlucky) ^_^

Its okay but the visuals just hurt my eyes, it also makes it nearly impossible to see in front of you. Sounds were a tad annoying. But i got the concept of game play well enough. but just no on the art.

Thanks for your comment.

Yes, the Art is ... little weird, I admit it. When my computer died, I had to make from scratch very fast, so it's ... paintings I've made in rush and scanned : no time enough to build the 3D environnement I had made before.

So, sorry for your eyes. Probably less harmfull in windowed mode. Give it a try and let me know if it's better or not (you can try the HTML5 version here : http://www.yazorius.com/1941v1 You'll be able to resize the game's screen resolution as you want in changing the size of the webpage).

But this Art finally gives a little"weirdy" style close to the mind/crazyness of the character. I'm not definitivly sure that the first "polished" 3d renders could have brought such funny spirit.

Again, thanks for your comment and have tried my humble game ^_^

Well it's... something! I personally haven't watched the movie , but from watching the youtube video, I can totally see it in the game! so 5/5 on movie interpretation :)

Overall it was funny, though when you die you get thrown back to the start with no warning and it's not the best, maybe put a "you died" screen and a restart button so you're prepared when it restarts?

Developer

Thanks for your comment ! ^_^ For the "die screen page", yes, I had planed to make one, but ... this game is the fruit of 2 days of work only. All I have made the days before has been lost : my main computer has died last friday night, taking with him my hard disk. So, only two days to remember what I've done and do it again in a SuperFastPower way ! ;) So no time to create a better menu or even a die splash-screen with sad music. But it was really a great challenge to recreate everything (music, graphics in painting/scanning mode, programmation), all with my old laptop ^_^ Thanks again for your nice comment. I'm happy you've enjoyed the game. D'ont hesitate to see this great movie : it's old, but so gooood !

Thanks. I'm happy you've enjoyed this little humble game. My first arcade game ever ! ^_^
