Fun little game! Would be nice if I started out slower because I died like 10 times before I knew what was going on but once it got going it was alright.

that was very frantic! too fast for me i guess, but that speed added to the feeling of the game. Nice entry for such a short time of development!

Pretty solid entry for a jam! The enemies were super fast, I wished the camera was a little zoomed out. However, it was also very fast-paced in a good way. If you want to revisit this, maybe after each death add the score to some kind of score count and make upgrade available to buy.

Nice Game jam game for 9 hours of work.  There dose appear to be a small issue though where enemy were spawning less than a tile away from the skeleton killing me instantly.  Other than that good game keep up the good work.

A pretty well designed map on your part! I found the fast enemies keep me on the edge of my seat when attacking, but i only managed to last about 10 seconds max! Perhaps a health system and progressive difficulty could have been implemented? I also found that the enemy assets could have been made transparent and some more polishing or audio could have been added. Overall 3 stars, which is an impressive score for a game jam submission. Well done!

Thanks! I wanted to add screen shake, health to player and enemies, sounds, music, a shop, and much more but the constraints of time was tougher than I imagined. I was able to make the player a transparent png, towards the end I threw together the necessities for a game and forgot tablet the enemies. Also I would’ve enjoyed a progressive difficulty system but had to deal with a decently high bar, thanks for the feedback, much appreciated!
