Nice music and nice idea for the game. Also fairly nice aesthetics of the environment.
However the game can be polished some more.
1) fix your spelling
2) add some variety to some environments such as forest - there you got one and the same tree over and over
3) make the enemies explode as you touch them, and not after you leave the square they were on
4) I think the overall game mechanic could be improved - the way the main character has grid-based turn-based movement, but everyone else moves however they want - this doesn't really fit together
Thanks for the feedback
I completed both endings, it’s good fun driving around running over villagers or ghosts. I think the player should move faster to capture the feel of a killing machine running over stuff - allow the player to move maybe 2 or 3 tiles before an enemy moves. For the last level of the ghost story, the maze is not a good fit because the camera is not far enough to make decisions on where to go, there is no minimap so if players actually exit the maze (there is a hole at the top-left) they might get lost, and also because the player moves too slow to backtrack. Consider making multiple solutions to the maze. The sprites also look too blurry on a 1080p screen, perhaps you need to tweak some settings. Also consider adding more effects like screen shake when something is run over, to further sell the impact. A thing I liked is that the game has options menu and dialog choices. Overall, I had fun.
Thanks for the advice, really appreciate it 😁
Nice idea for a game! I enjoyed murdering the villagers as a ghost, as well as the challenge of having to corner them sometimes. To improve, I would say make the player a bit faster, or perhaps add some dashing mechanics to aid with movement. I could only move in one direction at once, which was a bit annoying if I wanted to go diagonally. Also I found the 3rd level very challenging, and ended up giving up because it was so hard to get to the villagers in the middle (perhaps I just missed something obvious!)
Good job!
Dashing mechanics would be a great idea. Thanks for the advice 😄
Very creative!
Thanks :D
