Really fun game here! I'm a big fan of bullet hells, so this is really awesome xD
The polish is really well done too. All the particles and trails that flew around were messy, but I felt like it actually helped the bullet hell experience and gave it a nice touch.
Adding a timer with how long we survived would be a nice addition!
Overall, good work! I had a blast. :)
Nice frantic fun! The dash effect felt good and there was a good sense of progression as I turned into some sort of bullet-spewing god. Some odd decisions in my opinion:
-Being allowed to shoot enemy bullets makes it easier than it seems. With a few "bullets fired" upgrades it becomes hard to get hit by things that aren't wizards.
-Damage numbers showing the decimal places clutters up the screen somewhat. Rounding the numbers off would clear up a lot of screen real estate.
-It seemed like it was going to be a significant decision whether to buy an upgrade or not, but that almost immediately went out the window as I started earning much more gold than I could spend. At that point there wasn't much point in upgrades costing money at all.
-The energy bar seemed pretty much vestigial. I tried to empty it by spamming dash off cooldown and I was able to get maybe 10 dashes still. Not sure what's up with that.
None of these nitpicks significantly impacted my enjoyment of the game. Great work!
Thanks for the feedback!
Really well done. Fun to play, movement felt good, and effects were good.
Im glad you enjoyed it!
So far this is my favourite. The first game I saved "for later" :D
I played this until I was basically a ridiculous rotating showerhead of death. SO MUCH FUN.
And very polished. Post-processing, all the visuals and sounds go super well together. The rain effect feels a little off and should either be "underneath" the post processing or not be there at all .. real minor complaint..
also I didn't get the numbers at all.. at some point they were so big I couldn't grasp the amount of attack damage that was added.. but that was a huge part of the fun :D
I would GLADLY pay for a polished version of this.
It's like Nuclear Throne/Enter the Gungeon but retro and on every drug imaginable.
Ya, the rain was something that I added at the last minute to make the game feel more dynamic, I am glad that you enjoyed it and thanks for the feedback!
Very good. Really fun to play. A stylized UI would let the visual better. The upgrade system could be more like a leveling system, with character builds and choices in character development or at least let the player know what he is buying in the wallets.
Thanks for playing. And I did consider a character build system but figured it would take long to implement. Thanks for the feedback
This game can be described as Bullet Heaven.
Awesome, that was the feeling that I was going for. Im glad you enjoyed it!
damn this game is fun. I loved the overwhelming sense of power later in the run.
Thanks :D
