I really like this game, it's engaging and the atmosphere is super cool. One thing I didn't like is that when I died (and it happened often) I had to start from the beginning, and if it happened late (like during the boss battle) it was really frustrating, and that's why I stopped at that point. It has its benefits, like it pushed me to be more careful during fights, so it just should be a little more balanced.
Lastly, sometimes the enemies took two hits to kill, and sometimes three, so that's a bit confusing.

Looks great ... The enemy are a bit faster than the player ....

A couple of tweaks could have made this go from good to great. The projectiles are SUPER readable, which is great 'cause you've got to be able to rapidly read the situation and respond in a twitch shooter like this. The enemies however are the same color as many other tiles on the map and the mages move slowly enough that they don't immediately stand out. I had to resort to firing vaguely in the general direction the blue flames were coming from because I couldn't take the time to pick out which tiny white pixels were the ones I was supposed to be shooting. I actually ran into a couple of mages that way.

Other than that, a competent little shooter. Solid jam entry.

Really cool game, the heavy music feels weird at first but somehow it actually fits really nicely. The mages seems a little bit to strong and the game is a little bit too hard in my opinion. Besides that tough really cool game and very nice entry :D.

Fun game, nice effects. Really hard tho, which is probably intentional. The heavy metal music definitely added to the game cause it was kinda funny. I dont think the mages should be able to fire from offscreen but other than that solid
