Whoa, you really did a lot with the visuals here!  I really like the overall atmosphere.  Also, the faux-3D effect is super interesting; with the parallax it really sells the effect of depth!  The dialogue boxes are very clean, I liked the little mouse sprite indicating 'click to continue'.

I think the game would benefit if the controls were tightened up just a bit -- for instance, you seem to get very far from the camera very quickly, as opposed to what you might expect, where the further from the camera you get, the scaling rate slows down.  Also, an autofire might be nice, although it might make the game a little too easy.

Overall, really solid, I think there is a lot to build on here!  Maybe powerups and a boss fight might complete the package.  Great job!

Hey i remember seeing this on the discord!
Was very surprised by the 3D idea.

Game is really polished too^^

Gameplay was a bit hard for me, but her it's fine^^
Wish i'd be able o last longer, cause it's really fun.

Good work man!

This is a clever way to achieve a 3D effect in 2D that I've never really seen being done before. So props to you for that. Very juicy too.

Hahah this is so fun. What a great idea and I would never look at this asset pack and be like "yeah, this is perfect for a Mad Max style truck battle in the desert."

A few quirks I noticed -- for me my truck's bullets were "behind" the truck in terms of order in the layer, which made it tricky to see where I was shooting sometimes. Also, you can go reaaallly far into the distance which is cool but I'm also not sure if it made things too challenging to actually hit enemies. I'm 50-50 on it.

Loved the addition of jumps and the fact that enemies would go flying off of the jumps as well. Would've been cool to have another enemy type and maybe even a boss battle? Honestly I would play this as a full game. It's great. Awesome work!

Love the colour palette and the sprite scaling, very cool effect. Would be satisfying if you did more damage to the cars though, they're quite tough currently and it makes it difficult to concentrate on the obstacles. Interesting to see a similar concept to my own entry, but presented in a very different way!

Love the effect you have here. Really helps sell the sense of depth on what would normally be a pretty flat background. Good job bringing that together!

I'm a huge fan of the visual mechanics and gameplay! It can be a little hard to dodge sometimes though, but great job overall!

Much visual polution and the gameplay is not fluid at all. There's at least a good atention to details.
