I don't understand how to stay in the air, I always run out of energy after three or four shots :(

What am I missing? Are you supposed to land the 10 turds before the energy runs out or do you have a way to refill your energy? Also, it would be nice to auto-skip the dialog once you die, I had to manually skip it many times x)

Other than that, the game looks and sounds good, and the idea is fun. Good job!

Yeah, I think I made it too challenging. The trick is to flap sparingly and glide. If you hold the left/right arrows you will glide and fall less quickly than if you simply stop and only flap. You can also hold left or right and flap at the same time to ensure you don't dive bomb and lose height.

EDIT: The energy bar slowly recovers with time, but not fast enough to fly infinitely. There is no way to get more energy until later in the game ;)

EDIT2: You can skip dialogue with "s" as it says in the bottom corner, but maybe you are doing that already.

Yeah, I am skipping, I'm just impatient x)

Excellent entry. The graphics are colorful and expressive, the sound effects are pleasant, the music is upbeat, the gameplay is lively.

It is a little too hard to poop on those stupid humans. It often seems like it should land... but then it doesn't. Also, sometimes when you run out of energy, you end up traveling a long distance horizontally... this feels unintended.

Thank you! And yeah the wierd falling behavior wasn't game-breaking so I didn't prioritize fixing it

Nice story telling and design.

Funny game! I finally got the hang of it after a while -- the "crop dusting" approach seemed most effective.

Btw, when I was talking to the other bird at the end, they said "Not all arguments converted during formatting," which I'm guessing is a bug.

Developer(+1)

Yeah, it was supposed to tell you what the current wager was (how many poops to progress). Apparently Godot prints that out when a format string doesn't format correctly lol. Didn't realize till after the deadline :p

Glad you enjoyed!

I liked so much to crow! The flight is difficult to manage but the game made me laugh. How proud are those humans with a turd on them :D

Thanks for the game!

The dialog is a great little addition, the sounds and music also don't get annoying. The art is good but in some places it doesn't  perfectly fit together with the other sprites. The human colliders are a bit unforgiving and the controls could be better but once you get used to them they really aren't too bad.  Overall a fun game and pretty good take on the limitation, the same idea could fit lots of other games. Good job! Would appreciate you checking out my submission too

Thanks! Normally I really enjoy making good pixel art, but I sacrificed my pride for this jam haha.

I thought the bird handled very well. The sound design is really sweet. Reminds me of a Zelda minigame. I also loved the players "caw!" response to everything. Nice work!

Nice little game. I found the controlls a little unintuitive
