Use of the limitation
Since this is a typing game, the more health the character has, the more score you will get. So your health is the main weapon to get higher scores.

Cookies eaten
Too much, I usually developed the game at night time, so coffee and cookies is in my blood :D.

This game was pretty fun.

The art and music were absolutely great (Especially the Background Art).

I think you could add more feedback for the typing effect when it completes succesfully the name or for the enemies when the reaper kills them.

It would also be pretty cool if there was some death animation to the enemies, or maybe they turn into a ghost and the reaper collects them whenever you score a point(just an idea).

But overall this game was amazing and really fun to play.

Good Job and good luck at the Indieapocalypse Jam!

God, it's been a long while since I've played a typing game. I loved typing of the dead.
Amazing game. The presentation is very clean. Personally, I think a bit of feedback such as getting a word correct could improve the feel.
Overall great game! Had a lot of fun!

Cool game, liked both the art/music and the typing gameplay. Also, cookies are never too much, lol.

A fun little game with cute graphics, although I didn't really feel the Limitation. It would be nice to make the game a bit more interactive, for example that you must type in at the right moment when the enemies weakpoints are exposed to hit them.

Developer

This is an interesting suggestion, I might look into it and try it, Thank you for the feedback!

Nice game and a unique concept. I like the graphics a lot! IMO setting a different font for the text would have improved the game (or maybe switching fonts occasionally ?). Anyway, the music and the SFX are great! Overall good job.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback airfutureguy1, I will definitely be adding an option for setting different fonts, Thanks again!

Typing games are incredibly fun in my opinion for whatever reason. Good show! Maybe more feedback when the word is typed and you've killed the enemy. Something like the character launching forward and slashing the enemy?

Cool entry, tho I think the use of the limit was very limited. I see what your saying with it but wasnt really feeling it. Over all it was decent, havent played many typing games so cant say much on the difficulty or balance, would have been nice if there was a dedicated sound for combo start and end would have added alot to the juice Again great work!

Overall tho I had fun!

Developer

Thank you for the suggestions ilPinny, It gave me ideas that I did not have thought of, Ill definitely look into it, Thanks again!

I like the graphics, but had no sense of urgency for a long while. Maybe I am too good at typing? I also think that adding your health to the score makes comebacks not fun, as if you lose health near the start you hurt every single score addition for the rest of time.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback, but I am planning to add harder difficulties, and I think what I can do for the score problem is to add multipliers as time goes on, so you will get much more added score later in the run than at the start.

leofric killed me.
It's really well made, fitting music, nice background, unfortunately the pixel size is not constant between the character, the enemies and the background, but it's not that big of a deal. The words were always legible, every addition or deduction of points felt fair. Great submission!

Thank you for the feedback LoricGarde, I am glad you enjoyed my game! :D

Well done! I had fun with it, specially in the last 10% when it was tight. Maybe start with less HP? Solid Entry Juan!
