I liked the art. It's very simplistic in a good way. I also quite liked the somber music, it was somewhat fitting. Doing a 3D game for a short jam is always very impressive, too.

I do wish more was done with the fish being a mechanic though. I also felt like the jump was too powerful, since I skipped a few segments by accident. Maybe replace the timer with charge bar?

I didn't finish it, but that was mostly out of boredom. The opening section where it's impossible to fall back down dragged on too long. That plus the jump cooldown timer made the need to go back up more tedious than infuriating. Maybe that's jut me not being able to get mad at games that intentionally label themselves as rage-inducing or hard?

Overall, it's a good game. Just needs some polish on the mechanics.

Interesting idea! I enjoyed, just I would definitely remove the wait timer after the each jump. It got really annoying so I didnt finish the game because of it. It also prevent possibility of nailing multiple jumps in a row which I think would bring some pleasure.

I got a lot of comments saying the jump timer was annoying, so when i remake this game someday in the future, i will switch it out, so you can only jump when you are on the ground.

also thanks for playing the game :)

I liked the style. The feeling of loneliness is very well reproduced. The first time I was stuck in the computer room, but then I managed to get out (always stuck to the computers! Is it fantasy or reality? Who is this UFO anyway? It made me wonder...). I just missed some sort of score.

I couldn't complete the game, it's this kind of games like getting over, I like the concept, the jump felt a bit erratic, I liked how things go crazy up there (I won't do spoilers) The 3D world and it's design is awesome! it's a really big game for a jam! the music was a bit depressive. Great game, surely you will make ragequit half of the devs here XD this is a true challenge

Fun game, even though it takes time to handle it correctly. And it was a good use of the inspiration and limit.

Yes, finally I completed it!

First try btw!

*drops cheat sheet*

Nah, I'm lying, I couldn't get it done even with the cheats. Still, pretty nice game. I see a lot of potential for a longer rage game, the atmposhere it gives is really tense, and the music fits both being relaxed and being stressed or raging.

My only complaints is that the fishball seems more like a hamsterball (well, I get it's a fishball, but still) and that the raging elements appear a lot later than when starting the game. Maybe it's to give a feeling of the game being easy to then rage the player, but still, I think there's much space between them. All parts of the game before of the construction are easy if you time them properly, and as there's no roof to cut your jump, it's pretty easy to do that, and as Rob mentioned, the jump-timer is frustrating because it seems like an unfair element. All the game looks kinda fair and completable with the correct timing, but the timer makes everything more difficult because you can spend 30 minutes figuring out the correct angle for your ufo, just for the timer to ruin it and get you 5 degrees wrong (literally talking, that's impossible but I think you get the point) . I think the point of rage games is that the player is the one that rages with himself (well, maybe with the game, but mostly with its lack of hability to complete it) and not the game making them rage.

To explain my point better, I'll put you an example. Imagine there's this RPG game where all enemies are hard to beat because of their attacks and habilities that worsen or neglect yours. That would be a nice rage game because the player struggles to beat them, but deep down he knows that there's a way that someone has found before, and its (mostly) his fault for not finding the correct combination.

Then, we got an RPG game that makes you find enemies every step you take, remove stuff from you without warning (or even with it) & for no reason, or even kill you at random times. That's not a great rage game. The players complain about THE GAME and they are angry with it for being unfair, rather than being angry about it for being too difficult. Players keep playing great rage games because deep down, they know they are fair, or at least most of their efforts are the ones that cause the final result. However, a rage game that justs makes it harder for the player DIRECTLY (almost everything but obstacles).

That's the only part of the game that I consider quite unfair, since all the other parts are sane. The UFO angle is hard to calculate, but by just moving right to left and left to right, you can get it within a few seconds, and while the obstacles are the rage-part of the game, they are fairly designed.

I hope this helps you for the future! Pretty nice game overall!

Thanks for the feedback. I agree that the timer is a bit unfair, but at the time i didn't have a better solution for making the jump more balanced.

In the future i will be sure to try and make things more fair for the player, because nobody likes if they fail because the game is poorly designed

Again, thanks for playing the game and giving feedback, it helps me a ton because i'm currently trying on improving my game designing skills

Cool game. I did not like the jump-timer mechanic as it felt frustrating to have to wait so long, especially after a jump failed to do much because of a collision or something. If this was added to prevent jump spamming, then maybe you could replace this mechanic with a jump that resets once you touch the ground. This prevents jump-flying but does not make the player wait around.

Well done you made me rage quit after falling down because of those stupid missing planks :D

The atmosphere was amazing, really captures the feeling of a lone lost fish. Gameplay and level design were very unique.

Its a fun  rage game, but i did have trouble with the controls, I would suggest  a more apparent indication of when my jump is ready. Other than that, I had a blast messing with the tab menu. Fun game - Love the level design!

Funny game, a bit hard to take in hand, but I like the looking .

Tab menu is very fun. enjoyed flying around as a tiny ball.

the game is decent for a jam game and the controls were alright but the tower felt almost impossible ,although I'm guessing this is a rage game and that is the whole point so well done on making a rage game that got me to rage lol.

7/10 fun but controls could be a bit better.

Agreed on the tab menu, it's really fun to break the game with it.

One of my friends who tested the game suggested that is should keep it in.

Funny game, but the jumps are a bit hard to take in hand. I would have liked some checkpoints too, specially since the game is relatively long. I liked the level design tho!

Yeah, the jumps needed a lot of work, but i didn't have much time for them sadly.

And im glad you liked the level design :).

10. whole. minutes.
The only thing i have to say about it is that sometimes the jump feels a bit finnicky, it either launches you up in the air or you hop a little bit, and not being able to rotate the UFO without moving adds a challenge yes, but it makes jumps from certain positions impossible, so you have to jump to the side multiple times to get the ufo upright and jump again, waiting for the jump bar to refill after each jump... Other than that thing, cool atmosphere and nice concept!

Game looks great, I think I got close but I fell back to the start.  Thankfully there was no narrator to kick me when I'm down like a certain rage game I know.  I wish I had a little more vision for the jumps but I guess that's part of the challenge. Great looking game.
