Neat game idea.  Found a funny bug where you can stand near the box and grab flying fish that go near the box, and while the circle goes around just move your fish above the box, when you fail the button click, the fish drops into the box for points.  Another bug is when your on the boss mode, retry sends you to the regular mode.

This was fun! The graphics we're cool and clear, the squash animations worked very well too! My only critique is that grab/sell buttons weren't the same button. I kept trying to do the wrong click when catching but I'm sure I'd get used to it with more playtime!

Excelent game, very fun and interesting concept, great grphics and only a few details for feedback:
1 if you restart in boss mode you go to regular mode, and there is a little exploid when you go below the thing where you put the fishes, and you fish soething to put it above the place, so even if you fail the minigame you get points (: good luck!

Really cool entry, I think while the timed mode is a good tutorial for the boss fight, the boss fight is the very fun part. That being said its got 2 issues imo. issue one is I think its bugged and timed, twice I had the boss end prematurely saying "the fish god is please" when the boss was still alive and I was still alive. 2nd issue is that I think the boss should be behind the flying fish so you can grab them easier, was grabbing blind and seeing the boss didn't have any urgent MUST see function.

those two issues aside tho, amazing entry! I had alot of fun and the art + pallet was so nice, the player and their arm are so cute! the game felt good and was fun once I figured out (tho the mini game was kinda tight haha) Really good work

Fun game and interesting mechanic of the fish jumping. Would recommend the mini-game be easier as the timing was pretty demanding and precise. Maybe some fish have smaller and larger windows to hit the button to get more or less points?

the bone procedural logic you did for the arm is a really nice touch even if it gets weird sometimes! also the color palette feels so nice, those simple but cute sprites are really good-looking :0, and the quick time event is easy to understand, and even if you fail you can grab the fish again mid-air which is nice,  feels like the fish are squishy ^^

-yeah if you just hold left click you can't ever drop the fish. makes the game so much easier.

-I feel like I should probably update my IK design. It seems to be very glitchy (or it could just be me not setting it up right ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )

Very good visuals, liked the ik on the arm links. All the sounds you'd expect are there and the main loop is pretty good but I might have turned certain sounds down a bit, they cut through the rest very loudly. Boss level was really impressive.

God, this game is great. The art and music is so fitting and the sound effects are so satisfying. My highscore goes up to 11 (I suck at this lol) It feels so nice when playing, and the animation looks smooth most of the time.

The rod / hook sometimes does some weird stuff, it's like if it was glitched or smth, but that's just a minor thingy that doesn't affects the gameplay that much.

I think there's also a minor bug in which when dying in boss mode, when touching "replay" you go to normal mode. However appart from that, the game's palette is really eye-friendly, the music is very charming and happy, and the fishing mechanic is really clever. The ufo theme also improves the gameplay because of the hability to fly.

-boss replaying to normal mode was definitely a thing. I forgot to change any of the settings on the endscreen in the boss level.

-the hook glitching is just  because I'm terrible at coding and made the IK not work very well so it just starts dying whenever it's moved (I made the IK years ago for a bipedal simulator that didn't work well)

Really like the palette, animations and art in general. Only the arm was a bit glitchy with all the sprites clashing. The game itself is fun and the idea is really cool, the boss is a bit hard but it's doable. Congrats!

Fun atmosphere, good color palette. After catching a fish, you have to complete a mini-game to capture it completely, which is quite difficult. The boss fight is even more difficult as you have to avoid bullets!

Being busy is fun.

The UFOs can fly around freely in the sky, but the way to catch fish is surprisingly primitive.

well too bad because you're a drone sent by a UFO to catch and sell fish to appease the humans (and the fish god but we don't talk about that). Fly around as fast as you can with your hook to catch as many fish before the shop opens and humans find you.
