This was chill. I had fun just listening to the music and the engine sounds. Great entry!

Great game, very engaging with the upgrade system.

Congrats!

I like the music. The graphics are simple but fitting. The little text when mousing over the robots is cute. The acceleration and fall of the spacecraft, in spite of the basic graphics, is quite effective--I actually felt a little motion sickness each time I fell from a great height. :)

Ultimately, the gameplay doesn't have all that much variety. The upgrade system seems interesting, but all we can do is just rise vertically into the sky. It might have been more interesting if there were steering around obstacles, dealing with damage, etc.

I felt like, "If I go higher, maybe I can find something."

This game is very impressive.

A really nice little game - it was like a combination of those launch a rocket flash games and an incremental game, and it worked surprisingly well! The upgrades felt well balanced too, although the drag upgrade was a bit ambiguous - I never figured out what it did. Some stats on what the upgrades did too would be nice, like how much the acceleration increased by. The mute button, even though I didn't use it, was a nice addition too. Overall, it was real fun, good job!

Thank you so much for your input! I really loved VoltKnight, I thought it was one of the best games in the Jam that I'd played !! Thanks :)

enjoyed this little game - took me 13 launches to get home.

Did run in to a bug on my first playthrough where I couldn'see the + icons to upgrade my ship - got a bit confused

Oh thank you for your comment! I'm sorry you ran into a bug, I think it has to do with how the upgrades menu works. 13 launches is really good :) Thanks for playing!!

Despite having such simple mechanics, this was quite enjoyable :) Like the other two, I really appreciated the serene/chill mood of the game, and I think in that way it benefits from not having any obstacles, or stuff to shoot at or stress you.

What kept me interested at first was seeing how the different upgrades affect the ship differently, then I experimented with how to thrust to get as far as possible in a single run. It was interesting enough that I didn’t get bored or felt like I was “just grinding”.

I got there in launch 17, which I guess isn’t great, cause I had some misfire :P. I might give it another go later :) Would probably have been cool with a highscore list, but I guess that’s probably hard to do with Construct/Itch and within a jam timeframe…

Yeah, like I said, mood was great. Games don’t always have to be stressful. Good job!

Thank you so much :) The game started with a more serious tone, so I'm glad that I changed it. I really appreciate your feedback, and I'm happy you enjoyed it. I'll consider this comment in future games. I would love to try to make a highscore board in the future. Thanks again!

I didn't expect to enjoy this game that much. This was a really serene experience, between the simple rendition of Gymnopédie and the really simple concept of "make ship fly, ship will fall but you can try with more upgrades next time". This is like an incremental game but with a different approach to the "number go up" mechanic. Keep at it, that was nice!

Thank you very much! I am glad you liked the atmosphere and the MIDI version of Gymnopedie I made in the last our of development! Thank you for the helpful feedback and thanks for playing!

Wow, this felt really sublime. The music and the stars in the sky...great job on crafting the experience. I wish I could've taken control of the ship and steered it, maybe around some obstacles. Nice work, I enjoyed the journey

Thank you! I wanted to maybe spawn comets to shoot or to move around, but I just ran out of time in the jam. Thank you for playing and commenting!!
