Ok, the game has potential, but in my opinion, adding RNG to a point-and-click isn’t a great idea (for example, the cat that gives me ball eyes? And later I end up looping a poop?), or maybe I’m missing a mechanic.

I was only able to reach the “love ending,” let’s call it like that — and it took way too long to figure out. A normal player would probably get bored faster; I’d suggest at least adding a description for the items, because I still don’t know what most of them do / are or a subtle way to guide the player, I'm sure I could have better approach if I know what's the cat is giving me.

Music and sound are super important in this kind of game! They’re basically mandatory. I’m a little sissy — if I’m not feeling any tension or emotion, the game fails. The music and sounds are key to making the player truly immersed.

I hope I don't sound harsh, it's hard to do a point-and-click, it's still amazing what you did!

Thank you for taking the time to play it and even reach an ending! We definitely appreciate the feedback, I agree with all of it, so thanks again.

Developer

yeah no that's good feedback thank you. I agree

Thanks to one your earlier tips in the comments I was able to beat the game. I got one of the endings

Nice visuals!

But I had a difficult time figure out whats going on. The only thing I think I understood is that if you use the knife on yourself you essentially cut a piece of yourself out? Maybe?  I dunno :-) I did get some very meaty substance out of it.

Looks absolutely stellar, well done ! I couldn't figure out how to get out unfortunately, though I did try! I gave the meat to the dog.. Now I have no meat and the dog still kills me X_X

Among some issues I noticed - death isn't always guaranteed to kill you on approach, sometimes it takes a little bit (maybe it's intentional, idk), and clicking on inventory items sometimes contributes to the noise level that can trigger reaper a bit too soon haha

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yeah i am realizing it can be pretty obtuse.

I still enjoyed the game and I like the concept quite a lot so well done!

Developer

Thanks we both really appreciate it!

I don't know how to get out of the room ( ゚Д゚ノノ Ahh!! lol

I do want to figure it out but... is that circle with a red line a bomb of some description? I thought maybe it was a door handle but I can't seem to do anything with it. I've been able to set a hole on fire but sometimes the hole isn't there and sometimes there's a tool box, sometimes there isn't...  I'm hoping it's not painfully obvious to escape from as I haven't found the solution as of yet... I found out there's an inventory though which was super helpful as I didn't know that it was a thing for a good several minutes lol

I love the art style though, the use of the mouse as a tiny light source, it'd be amazing with some sound too so I hope you both develop it a little further after the jam, something like this but escaping an entire house would be awesome in this general style and I like point-and-click adventures

Hey thanks for playing! I don't want to spoil anything,  but dying is very important, id say the best way is to try to be friendly to your roommates,  IDK if that helps lol

Submitted(+2)

I did it! Thank you! I was avoiding dying at all costs lmao

Nice ending ❀

Awesome! Great job.  There are more than one ending though lol :D

Developer(+1)

There are 3 endings ❤️ Thank you so much for playing!
