Artstyle is cute. The enemies were hard to predict so I tried to avoid them with distance. The timed mechanic with a turn based game is interesting because it forces me to act quick, but it never seemed like too much of a pressure. Fun Jam game.

This style is really good for me, grid games FTW, and lovely tiny visually. Gets a bit time getting used to the movement but it's ok. The enemies are a bit too hard sometimes; it's interesting that they aren't maybe totally predictable though. The light limitation is a good idea, even so that it's hard edged, giving it eventually kind of a unique dice-y RPG feel if you don't really know what's next to you but have to take risks. (First I thought the game would end there but it doesn't... well maybe effectively sure).

Really interesting concept and use of the limitation. It often felt quite random when I would die or not since there was no indication of what the enemies would do. My only objective was to stay far away from them but often I'd need to walk past them and just hope RNG was with me. I also wish there were sound effects.

Overall this was a really cool idea and the levels were fun to complete

I really like the gameplay and the incorporation of the limitation with the darkness, but I do agree with the other commenters that communicating the enemy's next move would be great

love the art but the gameplay seems a bit unfair when the movement is completely random, and the controls are a bit confusing at first.

Cool concept, and I dig the visuals. One thing I miss is telegraphing the movement of enemies, which would allow for better strategizing. Good job!

I like the style. While I do miss the sounds from it, I totally remember making an isometric renderer in pygame, so I get what most of your time went to =D

Cool concept and use of the theme! And I liked the art and easy to learn gameplay. I think a nice QoL feature would be to preview where the blue sprites will move next. 

Really like the concept of a strategy game punishing you for taking time to think!
