Good game! I think its a unique concept. The only thing I didn`t understand is what happens if I got smaller :D

Great game, loved how it looked, wish it had some sort of moving enemy as its kinda easy right now

Nice little game ;)

I like the concept and art (maybe a bit too much bloom ;P).
But i can totally cheese the game by driving in circles forever. There is nothing that forces me to drive around as long as I move a bit bc the only thing that matters is how long I survive. An enemy that follows me all the time could counter that unwanted behaviour and/or extra points for driving around (maybe random checkpoints for extra points?)

Developer

Hey there, thanks for giving the game a try! I'm glad you enjoyed it overall, even though I might have gone a bit overboard with the bloom effect :D

It would've been nice if the sharks followed my character. I wish I had planned these better before starting the jam :/ It will be a lesson for future game jams.

I like the the art and sound effects a lot, and the controls feel clean. I'm not sure if there was an objective either than just staying alive for as long as possible, but regardless I think the difficulty could use a bump. There are plenty of places on the planet where you can just move every few seconds to avoid the stationary damage and be completely fine. I think it could be a very fun game with some more obstacles, or objectives.

Developer

Thank you for your detailed feedback! The main objective is indeed to stay alive for as long as possible. I appreciate your suggestions about increasing the difficulty and adding more obstacles or objectives. Honestly, I was a bit hesitant to fill the map because I'm not very confident in my level design skills yet. Thanks again for playing and sharing your thoughts!

Great concept and game! The spherical planet is a fun idea, but I think it would nice if there was another objective than just to survive.

What if you had keep the planet as small as possible by finding some kind of pickup in the map; While over time the planet grows; Making it harder for you to find these pickups, and of course when the planet gets too big; Your ship sinks (because the waves would realistically be too big)

Great game! I see potential here! :D

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I'm really glad you liked the concept and the game. Your suggestion about adding another objective is awesome! It would definitely spice things up and make the gameplay more interesting. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts, it means a lot!

I survived 157 seconds! The gameplay was fun, and I especially like the stars in the background

Thanks for playing!

Cool project, I love the 3d planet! A way to express what’s the goal / objective would’ve been great :)

Developer

Thank you for your feedback!

Wasn’t too sure if there’s any actual objective, but the gameplay is very nice :) and the way the world moves underneath you is very cool!

Developer

Thank you!

Love the planet. Gameplay is cool but maybe there is not enough threat on this planet.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! I'm glad you love the planet and find the gameplay cool. I totally get your point about the lack of threat.

I like the tiny planet vibes and the overall concept! I wasn't sure what the end goal was, at some point I stopped moving and I didn't seem to be getting smaller or anything was happening? I get that a weekend isn't a lot of time to add more difficulty especially when you're doing it alone so good job getting what you already have here done :)

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! The end goal of the game is to survive as long as possible by navigating the environment and avoiding obstacles. However, I realize that I may not have executed the gameplay as well as I had hoped. I acknowledge that there could have been more clarity regarding the objectives and gameplay mechanics. I appreciate your understanding, and I'll definitely take your feedback into consideration for future improvements. Thanks for playing and sharing your thoughts!

(Btw, when you stop moving, character should start shrinking every 3 seconds.)

I like the small planet vibe :)

If the game is meant to be about survival, the threats and obstacles could be made more dangerous. Like more mines spawning over time or sharks following the player within range.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! I'm glad you liked the small planet vibe.

I agree that making the game more challenging and dangerous would improve the experience. Unfortunately, I didn't have much time to test it thoroughly. I can definitely see how adding more mines over time or having sharks follow the player would enhance the survival aspect of the game. Thanks again for your input!

Needs some sort of difficulty progression, once you survive for like 5 seconds you can probably survive for ever. I survived 120 seconds but could have went a lot longer if i wanted to. So making it harder the longer you go would have been good. The visuals are great though one of the prettier games I've played for the jam.

Thank you for your feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the visuals..

I appreciate your suggestion about difficulty progression. I agree that increasing the challenge over time would make the game more engaging and prevent it from becoming too easy.
