Godot, Aseprite, Audacity

Use of the limitation
Thematically - you are contractually bound to work for the Dark Lord Belzedor for all eternity. It also loosely features in the gameplay (the letter tiles are in a loop)

Cookies eaten
This must be about the fourth one of these I've done and I finally remembered to get cookies! I had a pack of Aldi triple chocolate cookies.

This felt like a really fresh idea. I love the quirky way to input words, and like others said the palette works well, and it has a perfect retro mood to it.

The dark lord moment really reminds me of inscryption :)

It took a while for me to notice the timeout bar, but otherwise, the tutorial worked really well, and nice to have a bit of humor and character to it as well.

Also cool to have an actual leaderboard.

Really cool game and idea. One thing I I might add would be since the tutorial is so important it would be nice for the game to start in the tutorial and then have the option to skip it.

Amazing game! How did you do that in such a limited time, alone??

I'm highly impressed by the amount of work put into it, and the quality.

But the thing is that it's also so much fun! I've been playing for a little bit of time and I'm gonna continue after this comment. It's like Wordle but with cool pixel art. Yeah the art is so beautiful btw.

I'm really impressed! It's amazing. And the tutorial deserves some love too (there's a full tutorial for a 72h games already??). It's very clear and cool loonking again.

I love this game, and i'm impressed, congrats!

Thanks for checking out the game, and the detailed reply! I always overscope these things and then spend far more of the 72 hours making the game than I probably should. This is the first time I've actually properly stuck to a restricted pixel art palette and it sounds like it worked out well :)

HAHAHA. TAKE THAT "THE QUEEN". NUMBER 1 LETS GO (At least for now). No but in all seriousness amazing game, especially regarding the time limit, loved it. Got me addicted enough to try and get first.

A very original idea that is super fun, well done! I liked it a lot. The use of the mouse and the arrows was a bit complicated at the beginning, maybe the use of other controls could have improved the ergonomics.

Thanks for checking out my game, it's great to hear you liked it! I meant to try a couple of other systems for the controls to see if any of them were easier to use (but of course ran out of time :P )

This is really clever! I love the thinking that's gone into this. It was a little difficult running around to find the right letters, but the words system was great.

Thanks for playing! I've been meaning to make a word game for a while, so it's good to hear it worked! I meant to try a couple of other systems for the controls to see if any of them were easier to use (but of course ran out of time :P )

I really liked the style, the concept,

music and everything in this game! But God, what a loser I am in it :(

Thanks for checking out my game, I'm glad you liked it! I definitely didn't tune the difficulty anywhere near as as much as it needed, so it's helpful to know that it's too hard.
