I love this game, very smooth player movement! The concept is super cool and it looks amazing, with just the right amount of levels!

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it [:

I love the Celeste inspiration, it makes for a very smooth experience and the world has character! After having played celeste, though, this is very easy lol, I would have made the other you probably shoot more rapidly. The only other nitpick is that the jump sound is too harsh/sharp. Otherwise, this is a really polished experience and feels great to play.

Developer

Thank you for the comment!

It's definitely easier than Celeste haha, I was aiming for something that looked cool and more people could play than challenging! And yeah, I'm not very happy how the audio ended up either, but it was rather rushed x_x

I'm glad you liked playing my little game! {:

Great little platformer. The use of limitation is super cool, love the first time facing the enemy and how it greatly teaches the whole premise of the game. To give something that could be changed, when playing in the desaturated parts sometimes it was hard to see the difference between the background and walkable ground.

Good stuff, especially like the audio and the screen transitions.

Thank you! [:

Great work!

Developer

Thank you! ^^

Loved it! Only flaws were the audio and the spikes being hard to detect with the background on.

Developer

I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed it! And yeah, I'll admit that the audio was a bit rushed.

The spikes though, I had hoped I'd made clear enough to see >.< Is there any specific place you felt like they weren't visible enough, or was it just in general?

Submitted

There were some spikes that had less pixels and the background didn't help it at all. Here's an example:

Developer

Oh, yeah, I definitely see that. I'll see what I can do to fix it!

Pretty cool.

But sometimes the spike is fusioning with the background, hard to recognize. Also may needs more time for level design

Great game, VERY fun, really hoped there was more! Is the central place supposed to stay in gray?

  • Cool level design, you have some paths were I expected to unlock a double jump to continue (not hinting at all :D)
  • parts with your shadow are a little easy
  • Nice audio
  • the art is on point, loved it!
  • controls are excellent, but please find a way to make it keyboard independant (for non QWERTY users)

Loved it! Please tell me you will add more to it <3

Developer

Haha, thank you for the (many) kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed it! [:

  • The central area isn't supposed to stay gray! You (should) get an option to alight it once you complete all four side areas. Maybe you missed one? (Or maybe my code went jank somewhere, but let's hope it wasn't that ^^')
  • Yeah, the difficulty of the game may be a bit meh in places. I had to rush the level design a little bit!
  • And, oh, yeah, I didn't think about non-QWERTY keyboards. Arrow keys should still work, though, I hope? If not, I'll see what I can do!

And we'll see, maybe I will add something more! I'm planning on at least one potential update, though it's mostly miscellaneous bug fixes and some more art assets that I'd like to do.

There’s a fourth one? I’ll go and check right now! Arrows are fine when you have no other buttons, moving with the right hand feels weird to most people.

This game is really amazing,

Celeste is my favorite game, and I feel the same enjoyment in your game,

The operation of the game is quite comfortable.

It is a very delicate game.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Celeste is also one of my favorites, so to hear that I managed to capture some of its essence is amazing! <3
