Use of the limitation
Anything that is your player's colour (blue) will damage you. The enemies don't damage you via touching, so the only way you can get damaged is by stepping in blue ink, or getting hit by a blue bullet.

That was good, though you are constantly moving out of the way of the bullets so your own ink hurting you isnt a big concern. I like the shotgun.

I think having to avoid your own path gives the game a really nice flow once you get a hang of it! The sword felt the most fun for me to play with.

Nice game, and liked the artwork, too much screen shake tho ;P Made it a bit overwhelming to play further.

You can turn it off in the settings!

my favourite part was when he said “it’s inkin’ time” and inked all over those guys

Really surprised someone actually found this definitely real, and extant easter egg!

I really like the concept! Having different weapons made me change how I played.

Really cool! It took me a while to understand what I was trying to do, but eventually I got that you step on the ink to get the effects, and it opened things up for me. Once I got into it, I was hooked; it's a very fun and frantic gameplay loop, constantly moving and avoiding your own trail along with the enemies.

Usually in games like this, I hate the melee weapons, but you've added enough range and AoE (at least to the sword) to make them almost competitive with the ranged options. I ended up going for the Uzi type weapon, but it was a close call between it and the sword! (E.g. sword over the flintlock thing any day of the week.)

Overall, everything felt really polished and the gameplay is fun. Excellent work on this!

Cool Idea! I like the different weapons, which is a clear avenue for more additions. I think it would be cool to have some weapons with more features, like a melee weapon that could reflect projectiles, or a gun that could remove blue paint from the ground, lots of opportunities.

It was hard at times to tell the blue slimes and arrows apart, since the slimes don't do damage I think they could look a bit more distinct, but not too much of an issue.

Having your health be labeled as ink could also have more additions, like maybe when your ink health is higher, the trail you leave behind is larger, so you would want to keep yourself at lower health.

Would also be cool if your trail did things to enemies, since then there could be more thought into where you move.

Having the other colored slimes was also cool, made my happy when I would see a red or green slime knowing I could get stronger by killing them.

Nice Game :)
