I maxed out at 49 meteors. This was fun!

Concept: This was an interesting one. Not completely novel, but also not NOT novel... if that makes sense? As others have mentioned it definitely does become more fun as the meteors come in faster.

Presentation: Charming art style and that explosion really was silly to look at, but cool. I found myself making little sound effects for the seal's pod. Having something to fill that emptiness would've taken this a few steps up. (Came back to edit this, I realized my dumbass had my headphones all the way down. The sound effects were lovely too and there IS the pod one. Sorry!)

Controls: Simple and responsive. Easy to get into!

Fun simple game. I liked the cartoony graphics a lot!

Really fun simple game, tho I wish it speed through a little quicker at the start. When it gets faster is really fun tho, even collecting hearts is more of a challenge cause now you got to differentiate between asteroids and hearts quickly

Good sounds - that tiny blip when moving combined with the music felt very chill. Upgrades would have been awesome.

I even considered adding upgrades, but I was in the final hours of the project :(

Thanks for the review, I'm glad so many people liked it :)

I loved the presentation! This was fun, but I would have liked more to do.

As others have mentioned, it starts of a bit slow. The ship's hitbox felt too large - asteroids seemed to hit it much too early. Additionally, it looks like the seed isn't randomized when the game loads, causing hearts' and asteroids' spawn directions to be identical in each playthrough.

Great work!

Thanks for the tips and the review, I'll take these tips to the next project lol... I really couldn't fix these little nuances because I started making the game on the last day lmao

interesting concept

but a bit too simple it could definitely use some upgrades

good job

yeah, a bit slow, could benefit from upgrades, still, pretty smooth and enjoyable

Start is a bit slow, but it gets fun around 70 asteroids destroyed. Hitboxes feel a bit off? As in the asteroids explode(hihi silly explosion) before touching the laser and taking hits too. Almost as if they are a bit large. Was quite enjoyable!
