Thanks for the feedback :D

Firstly, my team thought it would be more intuitive to turn the crank the way it is in the game (clicking on it and turning) instead of it automatically turning because there was already an arm that moved with the mouse. I'm making a new build for when the voting period ends, and I'm trying to incorporate all the feedback I received.

Most of these bugs are due to the fact that I played very long sessions with few breaks to rest, so I couldn't think properly about solutions to the problems that occurred.

Oh, and about the theme? It's included from the beginning when you click play... Like, every time you finish a mini-game, their brains grow and evolve as a species, going from the Homo Sapien era to the modern era (having to pay bills).

Obrigado pelo feedback, é um bug da versão web, se você tentar a versão de Windows baixada não ocorrerá este problema :/

I'm not a huge fan of Vampire Survivors, but I quite like roguelikes. The game's art is really cute, I was playing frantically until... I died, without even seeing that my health bar was going down D:

But overall it's a good game, I liked the idea.

Your game is really cool, the graphics are... muah, picturesque, and deliciously crunchy. Just one question... Was your game inspired by Diep.io? For some reason, your game reminded me of it quite a bit, and that roguelike factor added a lot, good job.

The gameplay is really fun, the graphics are super cute, and... apparently you made a hyperrealistic game, because everything can be solved if your credit card has no limit lol

As arte são muito fofinhas, principalmente vindo de um falante da lingua portuguesa, aprendiz do meu mano NoNe, o que dá uma valorizada braba. Continua nessa que tu vai longe :D

The game is quite short, but HOLY SHIT, THE GRAPHICS ARE BEAUTIFUL. I was very surprised at how cute and deep the game turned out, and I bet it was made with a lot of care. An excellent job, I'd say.

The game looks cool but... I couldn't even get past the first interaction, like, no matter how many times I press to interact, nothing really happens, which is sad because I really wanted to review your game :/

Anyway, from the screenshots it looks like a cool game.

Oh no, I forgot to put A and D in the Balance, sorry about that, I guess... And the mini-game ended in a few seconds? The "INDUSTRIALIZE!! (Turn the Crank!)"? I really don't know how that happens, because most of the time I play it doesn't happen, maybe I should review the code when the voting time is over... Sorry about this bug :/

Anyway, thanks for the feedback, I'll probably pay more attention next time :)

(1 edit)

Yeah, apparently this bug is only in the web version... Whenever I make a web version of my games, I have a problem like this, which is really annoying, but that's life. I added the names and instructions for the Mini-Games to the description; if you want to take a closer look at the game, it would probably be more fun than without it, lol.

Oh, and thanks for the feedback, it's good to know you liked the art. We literally had to send it with 30 minutes to spare because the animations were TIME-CONSUMING haha, so thank you!

(ps: I couldn't remember the name of the game, so I had to use what I remembered off the top of my head from MindWare, which made it a bit more original lol)

Oh, playing this was really fun, but I had trouble repeating the same sequence dozens of times, hehe... Maybe I'm sounding like an IGN journalist, but I think it lacked some save points that would have made the player's life easier, but apart from that, your game is really cool and BEAUTIFUL. Overall, it's an excellent job, congratulations!

I thought the concept was really cool, but I think the execution was slow...

It took me a long time to understand how it worked properly, until I saw there was a tutorial, so... I guess it's my fault for not understanding...?

Like, I thought it was really awesome when the windows started shaking and going towards the SWALLOWING WINDOW MONSTER, but for some reason my chocolate drop window disappeared, so there was no way to feed it anymore...

Then I just started hitting the battery against the wall and it got stuck to the wall, and that was funny. It was a pretty cool game, good job :)

I found the concept fun and the gameplay quite impressive; it's definitely a great job. But for some reason, my plant kept taking damage from boxes that I assume had already left the screen, but life is generous, so let it go. Good job :D
(Oh, and the Game Maker 6 explosion effect is gorgeous, I think it's hilarious, and I added it to my game too!)

You guessed right... For some unknown reason, when exporting the project to HTML, Game Maker strangely messed up the depth layers and the instructions ended up behind the Gorilla, which wasn't the case moments before I compiled it on my Mac...

Thanks for the feedback, I'll try to pay more attention to that next time I try to export to HTML, lol.

LOL we definitely didn't steal the idea from Wario Ware and Dumb Ways to Die, we would never do that, hehe, thanks a lot!

WOW, I wasn't expecting you here... Thank you!!! You have no idea how much this comment brightened our day.

I found your game very fun and JUICY nice job!!! I don't have many complaints other than the game flow, which is very short.

Gameplay -> Menu -> Gameplay

It's not a critical flaw, but believe me when I say, it MAKES A HUGE difference to pause the game so the player can process what's on a death screen. Aside from that, your game is one of the best in this jam, without a doubt.

THANK YOU!!! >:333

I thought about adding 1/2 to the battery limit, but whenever I did that, in EVERY test with my friends, they ran out of battery.

I thought it would be better if I made it easier, so that less experienced players wouldn't die in the first second of the game and quit, which happens quite often with my games that have a very high difficulty level.

That's awesome, haha! I really liked yours, but I confess it took me a few seconds to get the hang of the controls... and the plane's collision area was much larger than I expected, which caused a little discomfort where I thought I could pass without touching it and... I couldn't, lol.

Oh, I couldn't quite figure out what drained and what added battery, but overall it was really, REALLY fun to play your game :D

I thought the movement could be a little faster and more dynamic, and... a few times I got stuck inside the enemy, but apart from that it's quite addictive, good job :D

Touhou lore :D

I think it could have a visual indicator of how many lives I have left. I also found it a bit difficult to understand if I've already been hit or if I'm about to be hit, because the collision distance to take a hit is much smaller than the plane's sprite. Aside from that, it's a GREAT entry, in fact, I think it's one of the best.

(Except for mine, of course, because there are no crows involved lol)

Oh, thank you for the feedback, I tried to make the clouds yesterday at the last minute, but I couldn't find a way that looked good and plausible. Maybe in a future update I'll fix and improve it as much as possible ;D

Your game is beautiful and has enormous potential... But it took me a long time to understand the controls, and when I finally did, it felt like I hadn't understood them before.

Maybe if the cloud collisions were bigger, and there was some indicator showing if I'm going to miss and go straight past, or if I'm going to hit and stay alive, it would help. Aside from that, it's a GREAT game, and I'm even envious of your graphics.

Good Job :)

I laughed out loud at the dog stock images. As simple as it is, I really liked the entry :D
Good job!!!

I even considered adding upgrades, but I was in the final hours of the project :(

Thanks for the review, I'm glad so many people liked it :)

Thanks for the tips and the review, I'll take these tips to the next project lol... I really couldn't fix these little nuances because I started making the game on the last day lmao

Your game is great, seriously. I'm sure I would have played it for hours as a kid :P

Maybe it's just a skill issue, but I felt like the difficulty curve suddenly skyrocketed, and I couldn't get past level 6...

Great job!!!

I loved the aesthetics of the game, I felt like I was playing something from PS1 related to Parappa the Rapper.

I admit that I may have been a bit bad, but I spent a good few minutes trying to cross the scary street, and when I managed to, I couldn't find any indication of what to do when I should explore the park...

Good luck, we'll probably be neck and neck in the art category.

Yes, there were more people who had trouble distinguishing the items (we forgot to include the item descriptions on our list, we only realized it 2 days after the deadline lol).

I'm glad you liked the script and the dialogues, the scriptwriter on our team worked hard and gave us two pages of each character, we even had to cut content so we could post it...

Thank you so much for the kind words! We're really happy the game resonated with you and made you reflect, that was one of our main goals.

About the endings: there's only one for now. We did consider adding more, but the extra scripts we had ended up drifting too far from the core theme of generosity we wanted to stick to. So in the end, we decided to keep it simple.

We also had about 18 different animal characters planned at one point, but had to cut many of them, so who knows? Maybe one day we’ll revisit MFB and release a more complete and polished version.

Thanks for playing and sharing your thoughts.

Please answer me quickly!!! I'm participating in the gamejam. I uploaded it yesterday before I went to sleep and checked that everything was working, when I woke up the game wasn't there, I'm desperate, I can't resort to reuploading, please.

Itch deleted my fucking files, am I going to be disqualified for this??? I can't do anything??? Can't I just resort to sending the game again??? It wasn't my mistake, my damn files just bugged man, I'm desperate, can someone from the organization just answer me?

(sorry for swearing so much, I was too mad to think)

Should I set my expectations high for the games? I feel like my team is absolutely crushing it, but I don’t want to get my hopes up about winning. I still don’t know the standard of the other games in the competition—whether it’s high or low—GOOD LUCK :333

Either way, I know the goal is to have fun making the game… but honestly, I do have my eye on the prize a little.

I'm a bit confused about this. Every GameJam I've participated in before had a Discord channel or some place where results were shared, but with this one, I honestly have no idea where the results are going to be announced. Could someone clarify that for me?

Really really cool game B)))

Save delete doesn't work lol

I downloaded it and... nothing's new??? I think i downloaded the wrong version :v

+ 1 year of wainting time.

Playable VSILVA on base game?

COME FOR ME FNF PITSTOP 2!!!
