You mean, how long does it take to beat the full game? Doable under 30 minutes, I guess.
Well-made and fun game! UI covering actions sometimes got a bit annoying, and I think it would be more fun to have one-click movement and maybe right click or some other toggle for attack actions? Also the range of the magic enemies wasn't super clear.
I got to the thief level then died (after accidentally killing myself as the mage, haha).
This was another neat title. I think it's cool you managed to create two games for this jam, I have to say this is not my style of game I liked the tower defense better =D Much faster paced. Good work on this though!
Thanks :D
?
Very cute graphics, however the UI feels like it could use a bit more work, with text obscuring the move button and the move button hovering too much, and the move distance being a little ...arbitrary? Enemies aren't also immediately obvious. Ambitious to do turn based strategy in pico8 though, good job!
The art looks really good and the music is nice, but I'm struggling to actually do anything in the game. This, of course, could just be me being an idiot though.
Hm, did you see the tutorial?
It told me to select my unit and place them on the map, and logic says that means "click unit, then click on map" or "click and drag unit to map", but both did nothing, and neither did clicking anywhere else or hitting every button on my keyboard just in case.
Hm, did you play in fullscreen or something? That happens to pico-8 sometimes 😕
I can't seem to get it to work in the web version, or the windows download. Although the windows download automatically goes to full screen and I can't figure out how to make it not.
Update: uploaded a fix. Now the game runs at 30 fps vs 60, but should not use the full CPU now.
