That was super fun.

First level is actually way harder than the others, just because it's easy to get caught in a bad spot and focused down.

The others are great though the enemy AI seemed quite good.

I like how the game is challenging and at the same time it's lots of fun. Honestly, you should continue working on it.

Tons of fun, it reminded me of the few 3D GBA games there was.

A really great game, just a thing, think about a progressive difficulty next time. This can be demotivate player if he have difficulty in the first levels.

The most intense action i've seen so far :O

The game is really fun to play, the movement and dash makes for some really fast paced stuff, maybe sometimes a little bit too much XD

The main issue i had is the difficulty cause the Ai seems to have a bit too perfect of an aim so the battles are brutal !The second one on the lake in particular as there wasn't any much cover to help against the enemy mech. This also isn't really helped by the fact that some weapons feel a bit useless agains such a speedy opponent, the machine gun i felt did so little damage that it wasn't really useful at all, and i ended up using only the sniper for the first mission to destroy the turrets, and the missiles for the Mech vs Mech battles. Now that said i still managed to play the game all the way through and conquer all zones, and i had fun doing so regardless ^^

I really enjoyed the overall "SNES mode 7 - like" presentation, and some of the little details like the camera zoom in on the enemy exploding when you manage to win was super cool.

Well done ! :)

And here I thought the AI is still too easy to cheese :P There's definitely a lot of things that can be improved, so thank you for your input!

Nice job with the sort-of-3D in GMS :) I think I sort of got the gist of the game, but it was a little unclear - I was picking a 'class' of mech and choosing a location to invade, right?

Action was hectic as hell, too hardcore for me. But the dashing felt really good, controls in general felt responsive - like my failure was totally my fault for being a regular nerd instead of an ace mech pilot. And even with my slight confusion over the gameboy-ish intro I enjoy those kinds of menus/choices in action games

"I was picking a 'class' of mech and choosing a location to invade, right?" Yep. That's it.

I guess the reason the game is pretty fast-paced is because of my dissatisfaction with Armored Core and Virtual On controls that feel too slow for my taste lol. Thank you for playing :)

Yo! This is like one of the most fun games i've played in a jam in a long time! The controls, the movement, the ai! They were so intense! Like sometimes I thought I was fighting a human! That is some pretty crazy stuff! The variety of weapons and their different uses are excellent! Man I would love to see a game like this expanded on! Is diamond in the rough! Great entry!
