this guy is going to appear in my nightmares. Great game, the procedural aspect of the level is a nice touch, and the feeling of speed makes it super fun. The ragdolling of the clown adds a lot to the experience, makes dying fun.
Amazing game, super fun! Was not expecting the legs to stretch that far when holding up, found it hilarious. You really nailed the idea and the identity of your game. The only thing I would recommend is having coins on top of the rocks and signs so the player has more of an incentive to go over objects than around them as I could've easily done either (of course I chose to go over nearly every time though just to see those stretchy legs). Great job!
thank you so much!
Nice game! Really cool graphics.
The only bad thing I noticed is that sometimes the coins generated at the same place than an obstacle.
thanks a lot! I appreciate the feedback :)
Love the game! So fun :D
Very nice! I'm not a super big fan of runners, but this one is simplistic enough to maintain its charm. The music is great, and the graphics are pretty slick too! My one complaint is that growing tall is underutilized, and the collisions with it are finicky, meaning I didn't use it all that much. Well done!
P.S: If you already got a name for him, that's cool, but if not, I will dub him "Bongo the Clown."
P.P.S: My highscore was 655, so close to the current record!
Thank you! The growing tall feature is specific to collecting the coins that spawn above the stones. If you really play with an aim to collect all the coins then you have to use it. But yes, I do agree that I could have used it better. And thanks for the name too. :D
Also, try scoring above 1000, as that would speed things up crazily and would be more challenging :D
Thank you again!
I'm impressed, your music is great, your idea was original and the graphics are super cool! This is the kind of game that people play on mobile, and since I don't usually play mobile games, idk if anyone had an idea like that before, but it seems to be really original for me. Congratulations, man.
Thank you so much!! I think it would be a good idea to port it to android and ios.
Alright if I could have a sound track to my life, this right here would be it, I want this running 24/7!
Thanks a lot man! This is what motivates me to make more stuff. When people from all around the world appreciate what you do. MEANS A LOT!
My favorite graphics and music of the whole jam, runners are a guilty pleasure of mine so I played for longer than I wanna admit, one question is the stretching an animation or did you do some cool big brain mathy physics stuff to get that effect?
This really means a lot man! :D I have been making games and the art for a while, but never took part in a game jam. This is my first one. Never thought people would like it so much.
About that stretching animation, I created 3 poses for the character. The character blends between these poses depending upon your input. Thanks again!!
It's really smooth tho must've took a lot of tweaking to get right, always wanted to make a runner game but I always get too ambitious and give up when I can't make a feature work, you scoped this just right
Great Job
the game is really fun, the music is great, and i really like low poly graphics.
but there is a problam..
the game is not that original. and i think you need to add idle anim
Thanks for your feedback. I will keep that in mind in my future revisions. :)
It's a really good game!
I really liked the 3D background, And the music is so groovy that it just makes you want to dance with your clown. amazing work!
Thanks mate! This really means a lot :)
