I liked the concept and the visuals, but I feel the difficulty was a bit too hard, especially with the boss. I couldn't hit it without getting hit and dying. The music for the boss was also a bit jarring. I did appreciate the multiple endings as well. Overall, good job!
Nice graphics here, and nice idea with changing the size of your sword, though I couldn't tell how much damage I was doing with it so some visual feedback on how much damage you do would be good. Also the music when you get to the boss is abrupt and very loud. I would recommend giving the player more than one life rather than dying from one touch. Good work!
Nice game! I like that you implemented different musics for different occasions. Just an observation: you can walk with A and D but can't change the sword size with W and S.
I think I managed to jump off the world, just look at my mighty sword trail. Awesome ! The music got weird and loud at the boss slime (or whatever it was)
This is so cool. One of my brainstorm concepts was to make a character whose weapon can change size. I got too complex with it though and knew my current abilities would be unsuccesful in producing a game like I had in mind.
(There was gonna be a mana bar and the enviornment would impact how quickly you recieved mana. IE: when the sun was up mana regen is faster, if near mana crystals mana would fill quickly. Other crystals would drain mana as well as using the big size sword)
It feels weird but good that someone else had the same basic idea and implemented it and made it fun.
lovely game, I enjoyed it lots and the audio was relaxing. Also, nice use of the in-game tutorial style, i could follow easily.
One balancing issue i found is, that i often just over-jumped enemies and did not really use the big sword, maybe you could have forced the player more into switching swords more often/strategically... maybe having a set number that a sword can be changed.
but regardless, great idea and excellent work on the endings and game feel, good job!
Really nice and fun game, in my opinion it is really original and fun to play, I love the audio that you made :) the only problem that I have that when you die it's a bit lagging but it might be my computer fouls
