Nice winter adventure! Well-build environment and great job with visual effects and audio. Though the bear attack sound got a little repetitive. It was funny though that I can recover from bear attack by taking deep breaths :D
Deep breath ftw!
Had a lot of problems playing the game on my browser (Firefox) thanks to a couple of issues. First of all, after the second cut scene, my mouse cursor is no longer locked to my game window, meaning that I can click out of the screen as well not be able to do complete 360s and look up or down thanks to the mouse getting stuck on the edges of my screen. Might be a good idea to test your game in browser as well next time.
Unfortunately I wasn't really able to play the game thanks to it being broken.
Hi! Sorry to hear that your experience wasn't good playing the game. The mouse should lock back once you click ur mouse inside the game screen!
Hey friend! Super looking forward to playing your game, as the screenshots look beautiful. But so far haven't been able to get past the first black screen. I attached a photo of an error report in case it's helpful! I was wondering, do you have any known fix? I will hold off on rating so I can get a chance to really play :)
What browser are you running on?
Hey! Sorry for delay, been sick a couple days :) I tried it on mozilla. Will try it on chrome next unless you have a different preferred one? So excited to play it tomorrow!
Hard to pinpoint the issue at the moment but you may try other devices? I tried on chrome and firefox but can't hit this error :(
Hey! Got it working in Chrome :) Thanks for the tip and love the bear btw hehe
The breathing sounds are nice and the breathing mechanic became second nature very quickly, which is great. I completely avoided the bear, so this was a very short game for me, but still a good experience overall. Nice work!
Thanks for your feedback~ Glad you enjoyed the Breath mechanic! Ahh able to avoid the bear was not intentional at all as we want the game to be abit more challenging. I guess stealthy player reaps the reward
So the sound design was very nice to have, really gave the feeling of breathing. I somehow couldn't kill the bear, I got attacked alot but never died once cause I was attacking the bear too. The movement speed is too low imo - I understand you want to portray an injured/tired person but it took away a bit of fun with exploration. Overall Decent game.
Thanks for your feedbacks on the game! Yeap~ the bear is a nuisance that can be shoo-ed away if you spam attack on it. Also glad you enjoyed the breathing mechanics!
Ah okay I just wanted to know if killing the bear was an option or you could only shoo him away cause that's what I was doing by spam attacking it! 😂
Nope it's not killable at the moment haha
I liked it! It was well presented and felt pretty polished (ignoring the shadows which aren't your fault, WebGL is a real pain). Controlling the breathing felt really good. Good work!
Glad you like the game! The breath is a big part that we want to show in this game jam and definitely encouraged to hear that you like the feeling of it.
I wish there was a checkpoint on the wood gathering section at least, I died a lot to the bear and seeing the intro multiple times was a bit much.
I am unsure if it is a browser issue, but the shading appears to not work correctly,
Thanks for your feedback! Apparently we have a skip cutscene button which is F2 but not indicated properly in game. Sorry for that! And yeap.. The shading on WebGL was weird and unfortunately we tested WebGL abit late and do not have enough time to get it working. Other than that, hope you enjoyed the game experience!
Pretty cool game!! I think it would benefit with a checkpoint system tho since dying to the bear seems to be a common thing that happens. Shadows get kinda funky too but I know it's not your fault at all. Well done on the breathing mechanic!
Thanks for your feedback! Yea we did not manage to get the shadows working on WebGL. And it was really interesting because we never thought of implementing a checkpoint. Tells us how important black box testing is! Anyway glad you enjoyed parts of the game!
Reminds me of my Club Penguin days; having a ski accident, and gathering materials to survive. It was oddly nostalgic for that reason, and definitely a memorable experience.

Theme (4/5)
[ + + + + - ]
I was instantly impressed with the idea of taking deep breaths to keep your stress levels down. That said, it became second-nature -- which is actually sort of impressive, because it adds to the immersion -- but because the theme didn't carry weight further into the game I can't justify a higher score.
Well done though!
Gameplay (3/5)
[ + + + - - ]
I enjoyed the idea of having to gather resources whilst avoiding the bear. It added to the pressure of survival. However, it was comical to me that
a) I could stand a chance against a bear in the first place, and
b) The bear scampers off after I "beat" it, to turn around and maul me later on.
Not sure how I would have done it differently. It was actually rather fun and interesting; just immersion breaking. Perhaps "bear spray," or some sort of stealth or natural musk to avoid detection? Not sure about those, because then I wouldn't have the satisfaction of defending myself with a climbing pick. It was fun, but I can't justify giving it more than 3 stars.
Implementation (2/5)
[ + + - - - ]
I was disappointed that I could only use the WebGL version, because it's usually buggy with 3D games like this. I ran into an issue where I was locked so I couldn't turn more than 360* degrees in a given direction. If I wanted to look further I'd have to turn all the way around. It had something to do with how my cursor was being captured, I think. That, and it seems like the LOD was extremely touchy. Shadows were jumping all over the place. Maybe it would have been better if it had been shipped with a standalone version as well?
Presentation (4/5)
[ + + + + - ]
I know I gave the LOD issue a hard time, but the fact that you put together a convincing 3D scene is enough to stand out. It's a bold move, and I think it came out well. I'd give it 5 stars if there were more interesting dynamics to the scene, but alas, it's hard to have everything. Well done.
Creativity(4/5)
[ + + + + - ]
I don't know what to say here, other than I enjoyed how you brought all of the elements together to create the feeling of being a lost survivor. The immersion is probably what did it for me. I know I said the bear breaks the immersion a bit, but it's sure creative! I loved it. I'd give it 5 stars if there was more to be said about the creativity; but as it is, it's simple, straightforward, and has just enough creativity to stand out as unique and interesting.
Thanks for a fun game! It isn't one I'd play again, but if you develop the idea into something a bit more engaging in terms of gameplay, I could see myself playing more levels/scenes!
Hey~ Thanks for the comment! We are glad that you liked the game in overall! Appreciate your time to leave such detail thoughts and feedbacks from your gameplay experience. Somehow, I'm surprised you asked for a downloadable version because I am the kind of person who prefer to play in WebGL (easier and convenient). Will definitely put it into our thought process in the future by providing different types of playable platform. And yes, very unfortunately the WebGL version is having some issues with controls and shadows :( Anyway, still a big thanks to you!
